  • Homosexual activists understand the power of words.

Please visit my channel to watch a one-minute video clip in which popular atheist author Richard Dawkins admits that homosexual activists "hijacked the word 'gay'".

The word "homosexual" is more appropriate and accurate because it, unlike the word "gay", actually describes the behavior/attraction/relationship being discussed.

The word "gay" helps homosexual activists push their agenda.

  • I love this! i sure wish i could attend a TED event..

  • How cool would it be for Young Me / Now Me to be redone in a generation for a 3rd staging? ^.^ (what got me thinking was #415 on Ze Frank's site... when that baby is grown and has a kid too he HAS to take the same photo his father and grandfather took... I'd call it an injustice, not only to his family, but to society, to not continue that chain =P)

  • Er actually there are probably quite a few like the one I just said, as just a few more clicks forward is another beautiful pic done roughly the same way... I can already tell I'm going to lose a large chunk of my day going through that site...

  • People named Ted are awesome.

  • 659954654

  • I can only imagine what our society will be like by 2100. I believe there are only two outcomes. 1) we will be gone either destroyed by something or ourselves. 2) we will be almost completely unrecognizable to someone from 2010 if they were to walk through a door straight to 2100.

  • wow !! the remix was really great ! next chart topper - "whip somebody's ass" !!

  • Evolution of media; it's becoming more inclusive thanks to global networking : )

  • 00:51

my country is in the middle of the map.... :D

    libya

  • last time he talked to ted he opened with the following:

"I was told backstage that i had a 15 minute presentation, but i only prepared for 11.... so if its cool, we can just hold for 4 minutes", and this time he started shushing people when they applauded :D great guy

  • I feel like this guy is always outta time

  • @stretchyrubberbands I think the idea isn't the quality of the song but the fact that complete strangers took time out of their day to make something for free to try and make you feel a bit better.

  • does anyone else find this goddamn irritating?

  • subtitles in your shows needed are. some people as a second language english they have.

  • What a brilliant talk. And there is Rolex, again catering to the needs of deep sea creatures.

  • immaaaa bouttt tooooo whippp somebodyss assssss

  • anyone know where to find the song from ?

    thebandwidth.zefrank.com/ray/goose_whipass_exteeeended.mp3

does not work anymore and I can't find it anywhere

  • I was feeling crappy before I watched this video. Thanks for everything you do

  • Ze Frank is such an awesome guy.

  • :) i feel better now

  • Yay! Another Ze Frank Ted talk. His first was so ... amazing

  • @mushroomHEADBANG I think pointless, nonconstructive entertainment is the pursuit of most who use the internet. Having said that, at least the work Frank does (to me) is for non-superficial, often enlightening and transformative purposes rather than fodder for furrowed-brow intellectual purists or self-loathing social butterflies. I, too, like the hardcore, informative TEDtalk, yet I probably represent a small social strata of the "democratized" content of the web, to my liking or not.

  • On the zefrank web site he said it took them 2 days to find Ray, but here he says 2 weeks. My how time stretches out in 3 years!

  • I think that the science lesson here is that communication is part of science.

The Internet is the BIGGEST communication tool and one of the BIGGEST technology developments of our time. It connects people. And his examples are about showing this technology and its capabilities..

  • As entertaining as this was....I found it rather pointless and nonconstructive.

  • @mushroomHEADBANGERS Performing social experiments like these are extremely important to understand human interaction and and internet in general.

  • @KeithSwanger Care to explain as to how this has helped us further understand human interaction and internet?

  • @mushroomHEADBANGERS ZeFrank isn't a scientist. He didn't have a plan in mind to draw conclusions from these experiments. He simply performed them. Honestly, it's not his job to draw conclusions. These experiments should be used as inspiration for real scientists to create experiments that are creative instead of linear. It's very easy to create an online survey. It's extremely difficult to make a large group of people collaborate in a way that ZeFrank did.

  • @KeithSwanger As I initially stated...Entertaining at most. Anything can be perceived as inspirational. I don't dislike his presentation, I just feel it's a little out of place IMO.

  • @mushroomHEADBANGERS Even then, it's been said 1000 times. What's the E in TED stand for?

  • @KeithSwanger Once again, as I initially said....Entertaining.

  • "hard" scientists? maybe because some just spend to much time looking down and playing with themselves rather then looking around and noticing other people & things in the world. the ideas that he is sharing are important. it is significant to a bigger conversation that is happening.

  • why's everyone complaining??? surely you've seen this guys previous talks so you know what to expect, or perhaps you can just read, I.e. the title and description...

you don't have to watch every TEDtalk posted and you can't expect them all to be to your liking.

  • Excellent! Good presentation.

  • horrible dancing

  • around the world chorus, perfect.

  • this is sooo awesome

  • This guy seems charming and all but he's not a visionary. Where's this millennium's Nikola Tesla?

  • This bloke seems like a nice enough guy, but hardly a visionary, pushing the limits of the known! Where's this millenium's Nikola Tesla?

  • tedtalks is getting so boring : where is the real science ? where are the breakthrough ideas or discoveries ? where are the concepts that need a mental age OVER 5 to comprehend ? this is such crap lately.

im so tired of this shit 'look laugh at baby photos' (i could not watch this one beyond that) crappy talks. come on ted, pick yourself up again! Pleeeeease!

  • Awesome!

  • Pointless.

  • @eagleeye1975 You must live a dull, colourless life.

  • Love it when people who doesn't really contribute themselves complain so much.

I think this was nice, very human and empathic.

    Good and inspiring talk IMO.

  • I would rather learn something new about animals or the universe than watching a video about a guy that mixes audio. Please, TED.

  • i really like this one

  • I like it...Mr. Frank has passion, and I enjoy the fact that he is sharing it with me.

  • wtf

  • audio sux.

God knows i love ze frank, and although i enjoyed the 'Angigrami' and the last song, this was pretty pointless....

  • I thought the guy was just a waste of time until he got to the part about getting hatemail. Now I can't dislike him because it triggers my "side against whoever's the most obnoxious" instinct.

Don't send hatemail, people. To anyone, ever. It only backfires. That goes for YouTube comments too.

  • Ze Frank YES!!!

  • This talk spanned Technology, Entertainment and Design. Very creative and full of humanity. Thanks Ze and TED.

  • First good TED talk in a LONG time.

  • Wtf this sucks lol

  • that last song got to me, i really needed that... thanks

  • How wierd ... got goosebumps when the girl started singing and right to the end.

  • OK Ze, I'll give your words a try on remixing :)

  • TED just made my day! :D "beam"

  • every once in a while, TED just makes my day...

  • Who the fuck is this cracker?

  • Great video! Really inspiring. :-)

  • great presentation, much energy there!

  • Fantastic! Must watch:)))

  • i liked this video and the structure and way of presenting very much!

  • This guy has done more for the communities of the internet than anyone else i can think of. i saw him give this speech at VidCon, but this shit doesnt get old.

  • Lol @ his face at 4:57.

"I'm... About to whip somebodies ass.."

I MUST find the goose remix. I want to hear the whole thing...

    Funny and awesome stuff.

    You'll be fine

    just breathe.

  • @iviewthetube This should become the standard reply to trolls.

  • yeah start at 4:20.

  • sorry for downsorting

  • For all those who are complaining about TED hosting these talks, maybe you forgot what TED stands for: Technology, ENTERTAINMENT and Design.

  • @DrInfidel This talk was GREAT. The past few have been shit though.

  • Wow. This was awesome!

  • facebook is stupid, monotonous, distracting, going nowhere.

  • scary

  • Ze Frank, the true originator of youtube. Extraordinary man!

  • You haters clearly haven't visited his site.

  • @xgusROX How can they be 'haters' if they haven't?

  • @Saerain I'm saying they wouldn't be haters if they had gone to his site, fairly easy to understand I thought.

  • Helping the physical world problems with science is wonderful... Ending poverty, world hunger, going to space, curing cancer... But what does all that amount to if the human race isn't happy. Science solves many things, but only physical things. What about the spiritual realm, for lack of a better word, and I don't mean religious spirituality but the non-physical aspects of humanity such as emotions. How does science fix sadness from a breakup, or anger from losing your job.
