  • beautiful!! Amazing!

  • What cd is this from? I would like to buy it.

  • @oporto85

I think the cd is "In Silence of the word' by the Carthsian monks of Parkminster, west Sussex, UK google their website as it's there. St. Hugh's Charterhouse, Parkminster, west Sussex, UK. It is the largest cloistered monastery in Europe.

  • @moparcarsonly Guy Fawkes and the other conspirators were Roman Catholics trying to kill King James and attack England because of their printing of the King James Bible. Rome and England were the bitterest of enemies. Protestant England was taking the gospel to the world through her rising empire and Rome was not about to let that happen. This is why when Alex Jones and others blame Great Britian and the bankers, it is just another attack on the once mighty empire that helped spread the truth

  • @Jesuitfinder Please don't. It would be better if you didn't.

  • @NihilNominis Better if I didn't....what?

  • @Jesuitfinder Say what you just said.

  • @NihilNominis Why? :)

  • @Jesuitfinder I'm not sure the history bears out the teleological significance you attach to the actions of Guy Fawkes and his conspirators, links them to Rome herself, or to Alex Jones. I think that sort of speculative polemic may be more appropriate, at any rate, beneath a video in which the Church has fired the first salvo, so to speak, and not under a video of Carthusian chant.

  • This is from the documentary Into Great Silence, isn't it? A lot of the shots look really familiar.

  • @MrsNorris55 Yes, they are...at least the majority of them.

  • The Lord speaks to me in silence. How great it would be if one could spend most of one's day in silence. I could be sure not to miss a single word of the Lord as He speaks to me.

  • Beyond words.

  • Father, I abandon myself into your hands; do with me what you will. Whatever you may do, I thank you: I am ready for all, I accept all. Let only your will be done in me, and in all your creatures. I wish no more than this, O Lord. Into your hands I commend my soul; I offer it to you with all the love of my heart, for I love you, Lord, and so need to give myself, to surrender myself into your hands, without reserve, and with boundless confidence, for you are my Father.
  • Fantastic!

  • Simple beautiful
