one thing i hate is the rumors that a certain player is not comfortable at my club. my star youth player was targeted by the media who created the rumors that he wanted to leave and he messaged me that its all bullshit and he wants to stay at my team. then transfer window comes up and everything settles down and my teams board goes behind my back and sells him!!!

@noob595 play him against weak clubs. Probably a faster way other than loaning if he isn't picked up. Youth player's potential becomes clearer the longer he is in the youth academy. Let's say he has a potential of 70-91, in a couple months or so you'll see it shorten to 70-85 or 70-75 or ideally 75-85. It's better to leave them in the Youth Academy longer

You have to finish a season, then u can choose some other clubs that wants u as they trainer.

P.S: its smart to come in the first place because then some good teams can offer u a bid. I came at 1st with then norwegian team Rosenborg. Then CSKVA Moskva and Paris saint germain offered me a bid. Some really nice clubs instead for Rosenborg i think :D

@Velphin Yes, I had a player who was about 175cm when he was 16 and when he was 17 he was 192 (or 15 to 16, dont remember). But yes they will grow in size especially from a young age. The shortest guy Ive had in my youth squad was a 145cm (grew to 165).

For example: I've got an (started out 66 on 16) 18 year-old 77 CB from Brazil and another 18 year-old 51 CM from England (started out 48). The first has 82-88 potential, the other one has 89-91 potential. The first one grows a lot (+5-+6 a year). The second started growing a lot when he was 23 (only 68 on 23). Your choice really. I've gotten a 79 player on 16 and he only grew to 83 :S

@GHO5TeZ I find that if you give your players as much match time as i do (20 games/season), you may get the following. The growth rate exponentially decays with time, starting from his first full season (or 20 games), in which a high potential (81-91) player may experience anywhere between +4 and +7. Toward the end of his growth, +2 or +1 can be expected. In total, 6 seasons is quite common. Ive found that 5 seasons is minimal, and ive had a player after 8 seasons fail to reach potential.

Also the higher the players potential the more attributes will increase in a short space of time ..

Started a new manager mode with Borussia Dortmund, was looking for a buy after first season, I was surprised that Wilshere was 88 IN CPU CONTROLLED TEAM! Why their players grow lot more than mine? I was wondering if you know how to change a players role from say CM to CDM so that their overall rating is reflected correctly.
