I work for a living. I don't have a whole lot, but I live within my means. I have a savings account, no debt. Im 23. I've had bumps in the road and I've worked to make sure they don't affect the rest of my life... I obtained my first degree to find that there were no decent jobs for it in my state, and im in school again with a more secure degree so that I can earn more and put it away for retirement, knowing social security will not exist when I retire. Self-Responsibility is what we lack.
Heaven forbid that a those who work can make their own choices regarding health care and not have to pay for others' health care who DONT make it a priority and DONT want to work.... I work for a living. I don't have a whole lot, but I live within my means. I have a savings account, no debt. Im 23. I've had bumps in the road and I've worked to make sure they don't affect the rest of my life... I obtained my first degree to find that there were no decent jobs for it in my state, and im in school again with a more secure degree so that I can earn more and put it away for retirement, knowing social security will not exist when I retire. Self-Responsibility is what we lack.

Does privatized health care not provide such an opportunity? You may say no, but it is the only form of healthcare in which its beneficiaries can choose what care they would like. Do Canadians come here all the time? I live in Minnesota and our seniors often go to Canada. I have never seen them come here. But I do know the insurance companies have been creating an alternate reality for those willing to believe it.

Health care costs money, plain and simple. That's the thing about Freedom....If you want Freedom, you need to learn to take care of yourself and work and earn what you get. Can't handle that? Then there are plenty of other countries out there trying the socialist crap that you can pick and choose from. I choose freedom and I for one will fight for it. It's not about rich vs poor, it's about freedom vs slavery to the system. Health care isn't a right, it's a privilege that must be earned.

@DuchessKyra that makes no sense, if you are free you can take any illegal drugs you want, have abortions etc. and sometimes people can't take care of themselves, maybe old or sick. we have already paid into the system the politicians fucked it up, so the blame isn't on the people who get social services, everyone gets a social service, if its a public school, police, fire, roads. how anti-socialist do you wanna go. I won't give you a fair trail cuz you get no free public defender

@sx200ser Freedom can not exist without rule of law.Laws exist to ensure our freedoms and our founding fathers never intended us to get burdened down with entitlement programs.Yes, the politians screwed everything up and it is time to reverse course and get back to those founding principles of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
