I love these books, these books, to me the worst parts were the sections of Nynaeve and the rest of them. it just got really annoying and repetative. Its basically "oh we can beat them easily" 5 minutes later "Damn they captured us again"

Egwene winds up being really bad ass in the book 12. She is powerful, and her character is very complex. She assumes the Aiel values in order to survive...well I don't want to spoil it for you. Just trust me on this. If I was in a fight with the Shadow, I would want Egwene Alvere on my side.

The female chunks of bordom were really annoying, but only for a few characters. Nyneaves temperament kept me intrigued, always folding her arms under her breasts.......Fight with Mogeiden. When she almost drowns but learns she can finally weild saidar without getting angry.

Elayne Egwene, booorring, Loial (the boring book reader) has a grander scale of events than most female CHAPTERS, but bloody well read it.

Really? Nothing ever happens with the bitches in this series. All they do is sip tea, give nasty looks, talk about how they wish they had penises, tug their braids, and mess with their skirts. That's all. Nothing ever happens. I skipped over pretty much all the chapters that narrated from the point of vew of the female cast and I didn't miss anything. Actually, I dropped the series halfway into book 7 because NOTHING WAS HAPPENING.
