I recently got this for my gamecube. For the most part, it's pretty good, but I wanna shoot whoever came up with Omochao and the camera angles. I mean, I don't like the tails levels, but that's mostly because the camera in those levels is especially egregious.

Wow some of you have some serious nostalgia hard ons for this game. I mean sure it was good, but not the best 3d sonic game of all time. Did any of you play the Knux, Rouge, or Tails levels? The only good levels in the game were the first few sonic and shadow levels. City escape, metal harbor and green forest were the only good sonic stages, and radical highway, sky rail and white jungle were the only good shadow levels. Take off your nostalgia goggles people.

@ShadooTheHedgehog I love Rouge! She's fairly complex as a character. She can be flirty and fun. She also perfects the "I Mean Business!" attitude without becoming too emo like Shadow. She also has a life history referenced in other games. Her boobs have nothing to do with her character. It's just fairly common for video game characters to have big muscles if they're male and big boobs if they're female.

@nikarasu61 SA2 was the original game and was first introduced on the Sega Dreamcast. A few years later they wanted to remake the game for the Gamecube and named it SA2: Battle. It's the same exact game, just on different consoles, and the Gamecube version has updated graphics.

i'v liked all of the Sonic games so far...only one i wasn't to craze about was Seceret Rings(that stuped "auto-run"...but it did introduce a new Super Form Darkspine Sonic),didn't care to much for the Wherhog on Unleashed(but i supose laing a smak-down on enemies & night stage bosses was SORTA fun),i didn't like the enemie battle macanics on on Black Knight(that's about the only gripe i have about that one), and i haven't gotten to play Sonic Generations or Sonic 06 but i want to sooo bad!

But I thought the music from this game was much better, and I liked the fact that you could play as the bad guys.

PLus, one of the best things I liked was that every character got it's own set of stages.

Ah this feels good, remember back in the days when SEGA was loved by all fans because they made games like SA, SA2 and Sonic Heroes? Than remember when everyone hated SEGA after Sonic Heroes? Well I think SEGA is back to being loved again! There most recent games are awsome, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations, Sonic CD PSN/XBLA, and soon Sonic 4 Episode ll with THE RIGHT PHYSICS. The Hedgehog Engine works wonders doesn't it? Im perfectly fine if they keep that engine.

If they release this on XBLA/PSN it better be the Dreamcast version, it was a little stupid of them to make a big deal of the digital return on the Dreamcast and then the first game released is a Gamecube/PC port. I want Sonic Adventure 2 not 2 Battle, the only part of 2 battle that can be part of it is the extra MP levels.

Where you can free roam, help other characters, do missions, City Runs, buy custom skills and find Upgrades. And as odd as this sounds...add something from 06....Remember those awesome move he was doing in the opening? Have those as usable attacks in the game. Have Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Silver, Blaze and maybe a new character that is actually interesting.

Btw I think Sonic 06 is a pretty decent 3D Sonic game, it's not the best, but it's certainly not the worst. I think bringing some stuff from 06 would be pretty cool. But honestly I think we should just go Stage to Stage, no unnecessary Hub World Exploring. And really the cast of SA2 was fine why add?

@XxMrmoneyKing I think that if the hub worlds would be done in a more explorable fashion, they could be done much better. I think the Linear fashion has a few times where it was okay, but now it just feels over used. I mean, we haven't seen a proper hub since SA1. And a new character to fit in with Silver's team story. Some one new, interesting, and a lot more different than the others. Team Dark is cool and all, but they have also been kinda overused. With Ultimate Sonic Adventure....

Why not port SA2 to PSN/Xbox Live? They did it with Sonic Adventure. Why not SA2? To me SEGA would make a SHITLOAD of money and sails if they did that.

They should add

- Online Multyplayer (2 Player Style)

- Leaderboards

- DLC For the characters (The original SA2 on the DC had DLC, but not the GC version IDK why)

- Sonic Adventure 2: Battle Upgrade in the PS Store/XBLA

- Atleast fix SOME glitches

- Disable Omochao
