@jadezxy there is NOTHING wrong with Kris Allen and David Cook. Especially since they are completely different types... I agree, Crystal is fantastic, but Kris Allen, David Cook, and some "little boy bands" are pretty good too.
Like last year where I thought Adam Lambert should had won I think Crystal should had won this year. She was by FAR the best. But it doesn't really matter, she will be a huge star - like Adam and other runner ups - anyway !!! All the best to Crystal from Denmark.
Lennon and MJ both have better versions. MJ's is the best. This sounds more like the MJ version, but with country vocals. The Chuck Berry sound seems to be missing from this version, which is too bad.
Crystal is not only over the top talented, she's smokin' hot gorgeous too. My only MINOR complaint is that most of the 'Idol' season, she kept her dreads up...
OH, and THIS specific song was my FIRST favorite song of my life, so it holds a special place...and to hear Crystal singing it just shakes my soul

forget signing her up for a CD......give her her own TV show. She is smart, funny and has a great, witty personality. Like the Cher and the Dean Martin shows of the old days, this girl can entertain us in so many levels. But don't ever stop singing to us-you're the new Elvis!

I love siobhan but overall i gotta say i'm with crystal....she may not have pipes like siobhan bt she is consistent and i feel her connection that siobhan (i am very sad to say) does not really have..
What really is confusing is Kara herself. She will often say to the contestants that they need to have "artistry" and then when the "artistry" she is talking about has been established by the contestant, she will say that it is not good enough and they need to explore a little bit about their character. And the contestants getting out of their comfort zone will then be criticized by Kara saying that she's confused because she can't see the personality a contestant possess. O.o

I love the way Crystal takes these old songs, puts her own unique spin on them, and they come out sounding better than the original artist. I find her singing addictive, and i'm hooked. She definitely ain't no karaoke singer. this girl is for real!!!

Come Together is the most amazing beatles song: the cool, suave vocals and the simple guitar that blurs the line between blues and rock, and how the attitude of the singer changes throughout the song. This version is more elaborate, I´ll give you that, but then again the original was recorded 40 years ago, so this one is a good cover at best.
she's a one take singer, gets it right the first time. knows who she is. her vocal is impeccable like holy! music is definitely what she was born to do.
She has talent with very few gimmicks. This allows you to focus on her voice and her personality rather than on theatrics or overly done props to get your attention. While the others are talented in their own way, Crystal will probably end up being the next American Idol due to her originality and strong vocals.

I completely agree. Siobhan can hit the high notes but that's pretty much where it ends. Her voice is very unremarkable other than that. Crystal is consistently good and always sounds awesome. Siobhan also seems to be a little lost and not sure of what to do with herself. Her interpretations of songs always come across boring to me and she doesn't really know how to make a song her own. Crystal definitely does.
I don't listen to Siobhan & praise Crystal. I listen to Crystal because she is the best. If you like Siobhan, listen to her & post comments on her videos.

Crystal is more about consistency, really. I don't think anyone has the right to question her talent, that's for sure. I wasn't originally into country and gospel, but she showed me, man! This one's going a really long way. And I love her rendition of the song. :)

For example, last year Allison was sent home before Danny after he did that blood-curdling screech and Kris won over Adam, and Adam was, without a doubt, the better singer. Couldn't agree more about Michael and all. Have you heard Crystal's own songs? Listen to Holy Toledo and Sunflower Sunshine, others. Siobhan is much less consistently good vocally as Crystal. I find Katie boring, tho when whe's not pitchy, her vocal quality is nice. Crystal's coming out of her shyness, is quick, funny, refreshingly but not rudely outspoken, laughs more easily. I think she's the best since Clarkson and Underwood and different for a change.
@altboi21 I've always said the format should be that the judges choose between the bottom 2 (up to top 4) who goes home and then one week up to top 4 or 5 they don't have to send anybody home. This would also bring in Idol more votes, so it works for everyone.

I love the way Crystal takes these old songs, puts her own unique spin on them, and they come out sounding better than the original artist. I find her singing addictive, and i'm hooked. She definitely ain't no karaoke singer. this girl is for real!!!

Come Together is the most amazing beatles song: the cool, suave vocals and the simple guitar that blurs the line between blues and rock, and how the attitude of the singer changes throughout the song. This version is more elaborate, I´ll give you that, but then again the original was recorded 40 years ago, so this one is a good cover at best.

She has talent with very few gimmicks. This allows you to focus on her voice and her personality rather than on theatrics or overly done props to get your attention. While the others are talented in their own way, Crystal will probably end up being the next American Idol due to her originality and strong vocals.

You can always rely on a 'natural woman' to give a solid performance like this ..
Is she at risk of being samey tho, maybe ... but for now shes a clear fav. only person who can really beat her now .. is casey james .. if he really taps into his innersoul and sing using that force ... he will be unstoppable... i see a bit of taylor hicks soul in casey.. i want to see that ... we all know casey can play the guitar much butter than crystal too.

You hear Siobhan, but you feel Crystal, and that's the definition of soul. Bowersox penetrates your skin and warms you like the sun on a perfect summer day. I completely agree. Siobhan can hit the high notes but that's pretty much where it ends. Her voice is very unremarkable other than that. Crystal is consistently good and always sounds awesome. Siobhan also seems to be a little lost and not sure of what to do with herself. Her interpretations of songs always come across boring to me and she doesn't really know how to make a song her own. Crystal definitely does.

Crystal is more about consistency, really. I don't think anyone has the right to question her talent, that's for sure. I wasn't originally into country and gospel, but she showed me, man! This one's going a really long way. And I love her rendition of the song. :)

@altboi21 Not saying Mama Sox is a bad singer, just saying America hardly ever gets it right. For example, last year Allison was sent home before Danny after he did that blood-curdling screech and Kris won over Adam, and Adam was, without a doubt, the better singer. And if you think even further back in season 7 Michael Johns and Carly Smithson were sent home way before they should have been.

Couldn't agree more about Michael and all. Have you heard Crystal's own songs? Listen to Holy Toledo and Sunflower Sunshine, others. Siobhan is much less consistently good vocally as Crystal. I find Katie boring, tho when whe's not pitchy, her vocal quality is nice. Crystal's coming out of her shyness, is quick, funny, refreshingly but not rudely outspoken, laughs more easily. I think she's the best since Clarkson and Underwood and different for a change.

@altboi21 I've always said the format should be that the judges choose between the bottom 2 (up to top 4) who goes home and then one week up to top 4 or 5 they don't have to send anybody home. This would also bring in Idol more votes, so it works for everyone.
