  • 0:08 Thats wat she said

  • if it was strong enough you could load a airsoft grenade and fire it so it will land and detonate. would be for hardcore players tho haha

  • Comment removed

  • tht sucked

  • you should fill up a waterballon with airsoft beebees and load that

  • 0:07 thats what she said

  • go Cookie, GO!!!

  • I like it. Looking into building something similar to this and the nerf rocket launcher but not for nerf. Any plans?

  • some kid far away is going to get hit

  • plans !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice build i ighly recomend you use vortex howler nerf rockets instead for ingame use the reefs at the feild will be able to hear them and make sure people call thier hits also if theyland near someone they will be more likely to realize

  • i think you should try this: make a paper shell as wide as the mortar tube and fill it with paintballs, but construct it with masking tape. to close the front, use the masking tape(just two pieces, make a cross across the front of the shell) and the bottom of the shell is just a round peice of paper. I tried this with LOTS of airsoft pellets and more masking tape over the front. I had a fiend stand around were we thought it would hit, and when it did, it sent pellets all over the place!

  • lame

  • @smeagle9999 a remote line for a paintball marker with a regulator is a start and a quick connect ( cant think of the actual name for this adapter but its found usually on air compressors) with something like a 0.5 inch threaded end and a very advised 125psi pressure safety valve (to avoid over pressure and possible catastrophe) with get you heading in the right direction. from there you should be able to Google your way through the proesses of making it work. in other notes cool video tjprouty

  • next time how about you show us where it landed

  • there not even airsof grenades

  • @25musicvideo That's because it's not advisable to launch something that weighs nearly a pound 100 yards into the air at 400 FPS and have it land in the middle of a group of people......

  • @25musicvideo BTW - IT'S THEY'RE - no THERE!!!!!!

  • @jtprouty BTW - its not - not no!!!!!

  • see, it would be awesome if you could get a real mortararararar effect out of it, by accurately hitting targets up to ATLEAST 300 maybe 400 yards away

  • @c0rnholio6669 see, it would be awesome if u could get a real sniper effect out of a airsoft gun by accurately hitting targets ATLEAST a mile away

  • @blackwaterairsofteam i was just saying....im not trying to be an ass about it, i was just commenting about how cool that would be

  • This was boring ass hell. you could show where the mortats hit.

  • @proplayer815 Ummm.. because they're too far out to see well? I think watching Pocket Vortexes land in a field would be a much more boring video. This video is just to show how fast it can fire.

  • didnt look like it fired anything just saying

  • @hacker42dragons That's because all of the Vortexes are disappearing into a magic pocket on the side of the mortar to give the illusion that it's firing. Just saying......

When the Vortex leaves the barrel at 400+ FPM it's moving too fast to see well unless you have a high speed camera, which I don't.

  • @jtprouty FPM feet per minute? its FPS if it was 400 FPM it would not reach the end of the barrel just saying

  • @jtprouty If it's only going 160 FPS you'd be able to see it pretty easily actually not hating just saying the reason it might've been hard to see is video quality.and actually i saw one of them pretty easily.

  • nice dog o and wat was up with the hahahahahhahaahhahahahahah

  • nice dog

  • what diameter pipe did you use for the barrel

  • Would be interested to make an airsoft mortar than worked like the tornado grenade.

Fires a re-usable shell that sprays BB's when it lands.

  • @jtprouty were did u get it or if u made it please make a video how

  • @streakier98 I made it by modifying one of my RPGs with 2 90 degree fittings to move the tank and added a longer barrel. No plans to make a video for this one.

  • @kidspace123

Small dog fetches Nerf Pocket Vortexes. We're still working on the small dog launcher.....

  • how does that mortar work? does it just shoot up a bunch of pellets and let them rain down or something?

  • @Redraptorxx

It works just like the RPG - you shoot Nerf Pocket Vortexes.

  • how does it work???

  • My Airsoft Asscocation Has a motar. Ours Has a max ranger of 150 yards and fires 2 projectiles at a time. one air bursts and pours down bbs. the other one hits the ground and about 3 seconds later blows and puts bbs al over. trust me its usefull in airsoft wars :)

  • @MarineForceReconCorp

Do you have any info on your projectiles?

  • @jtprouty Sorry it took me so long to reply... no sorry i dont he wont tells us how. because hes ex forces and has a degree in bombs and explosives and knows how to do that stuff. so sorry i dont. :(

  • Fully useless in airsoft-war. ;-)

  • @Assassunn

Wrong - we used it quite a bit and have two different designs that we use at our field. Really a lot of fun if you do a perimeter defense game too. Just have to have a big enough field to use it in.

  • seems like a pretty boring hobby. :)

  • Nice! Kinda makes me want a dog...

  • nerf vortex foot balls work best as seen in the video. there 3 in diameter

  • @ZANEm1418

Nerf POCKET Vortex footballs. The larger ones won't work. The PVC pipe isn't made in a diameter that will let you shoot the larger footballs.

  • @jtprouty yes.... the ones with the 3 in. diameter... tend to b smaller

  • lol hes shoting mini nerf footballs

  • what do you shoot

  • @bigleland92

Nerf Pocket Vortex footballs. The pocket "Screamers" are the best because they whistle while being shot but are really hard to find.

  • @bigleland92 "what do you shoot"

    Kids.....

  • @jtprouty what parts do you need to connect a Co2 tank to a pvc cannon?

  • It's made just like the RPG. I just used a couple of extra 90 degree couplings and the proper metal threaded couplers to move the location of the tank. The base is a cover that I found at Ace Hardware. All pretty easy to do.

  • can you make instructions on how to make that? my team has a couple of shoulder fired launchers that we use, but we wanted to make a couple of mortars

  • could you just make a thousand airsoft bb shower? that would be cool...... btw you should make a co2 bomb to throw at oppoments :P

  • sweet cannon, just made one myself - a word of caution though: if the regulator fails, its gonna dump all of that unregulated CO2 (800+ psi) into that PVC chamber with unpleasant results to nearby you - at the very least you should use some form of safety popoff valve, but really you should use metal for all the parts that hold pressure in the chamber. CO2 is cold, and PVC gets brittle at low temperatures - please don't give the granny state a reason to regulate our hobby

  • That would be so awesome if you provided a video on how to make it.

  • wooow man

  • OI VEY

  • Where do you get your rockets?

  • @ChunkyMilkProduction

it looks like nerf footballs to me lol

  • i know but i dont want to have to order them

  • @ChunkyMilkProduction

you just buy them from the toys isle at just about any store

  • Big Lots carries them for about $3 each,.

  • Wal-mart?

  • @ChunkyMilkProduction don't be stupid they're just nerf footballs you buy them at walmart

  • theres not a WalMart near by and trust me the little vortex ones are alot harder to find, all the footballs are the big howler ones

  • Try BigLots or your can order them on E-bay for ~$15 for 5.

  • co2 rocks but a hand pump works just as good man this is amazing how strong that stuff is you could fire a real morter a bit with that

  • how much

  • Thats REALLY sad, man...

  • sweet deal! did you eat it?

  • what the hell

  • You can get them at Lowes or at Sear's. The one from Sears includes an 8oz CO2 tank for the same price as the one at Lowes without a tank. I use a 20oz paintball CO2 tank with the CO2 regulator.

  • really nice idea!! i would love to shoot with this

  • where did u get pump thing from

  • Haha Mental is better.

    :(
