  • SPLENDID!!! thanks for sharing. Gave me an idea on how to present my 3D works to my clients.. im pretty sure they'll be very amazed. :)

  • I think u render from 2003 even now

  • you remind me gta v1

  • how time you spend for this?

  • @Llastinwar sorry for a late reply, honestly I don't really remember. but we need about 3 weeks to render everything

  • Wow, i am fascinated.Which program you use to build these houses?

  • @dimez97 3D studio max 4, this is an old project in 2003

  • wow 2003! very impresive

  • very good

  • go to fine-art.com search marc allen. great art for your home. original, and entry level prices.

  • that's class

  • Nice one

  • wow awsome. Does it take days to render an vray interior Flythrough? or is this vray???

  • @roidavidsen hi, it took about 2 weeks to render if I am not wrong using 6 computer. it's actually rendered using standard scanline, that time it's too slow for us to render v-ray.

    thanks for asking :)

  • @rdali ok:)

  • parece un prostibulo

  • Amazing

  • cool video

  • Beautifull

  • 2006? wow a lot of time a go i cant imagine how much machines do you need for do this job

  • @yameconoces it was four Pentium 4 1.4Ghz and 2 AMDs

  • @rdali wow pentium 4

  • Hey! Cool video, I think it's a nice way to put projects online.

We're now focusing more on interactive media that bring online visitors to off line sales points. I've attached an example video... would appreciate your professional opinion!

  • amazing job well done

  • Hi, i'd like to know what techniques can be useful to render architectural animations, cuz I'm tired of having to render per image the same illumination, shadows, and indirect light... I wanna know different ways to render this kind of animations., thanks!!

  • i see the software that you used

    but i cant find it,

    is there a website,

where can i get it [:

  • awsome can you do like other animations with this like can i do evrything i wan t in this software and thanks 5 stars

  • Yeah...

    Oh..

    Ok thanks.

  • Whats the name oh this?

    Id like to do...

  • @1Aurora2 hi, I'm not sure I understand... do you mean the animation? I call it 3D architecture visual animation -___-;

  • @rdali Hi I have a very strong knowledge in architectural design, and 3D computer graphics to go along. I was looking into starting my own studio and offer clients the ability to see things in realistic looking renders before they actually pull the trigger. In other words see it before you build it. My problem is looking for clients, any advice?

  • What program do you use?

  • @rdali Thanks for the reply! Good luck to you. -Jeff

  • Pretty Amazing Considering How Long It Must Have Taken

  • That is very cool, if you want your ideas/buildings presented in 3D rendered animations, check out: /watch?v=j1uLGvEhBek

  • @MrCoastalconcepts

Do you knmow which software you used and the tutorial too

  • Thank U for making...

  • pls can some 1 upload a video abt hw to use autocad 2003 or latest to model? plssssssssssss

  • How is your quality now in rendering? Curious to see your improvements.

  • Sorry to say, I don't do 3D works anymore. the business is not do really well in my city.

So now I'm more focusing on Design and Photography.

    Thanks for asking

  • You know (about your note in the video info) it's really easy to complain on the work other people do!... But, in my opinion, it takes a greater virtue to actually do the work and to show it on YouTube!...

    Cool architecture video, anyway ;-)

Keep on with your great work!!!...

    Ciao

  • Once you get your degree, the odds of you actually being out there in the real world designing for customer is extremely slim.

  • That all depends on your attitude twards it though. If you keep a positive outlook to your job then chances are youll get it. Youll get it if you want it bad enough.

  • Is architecture a hard career to get into?

  • I'm in my last year of architecture. I can tell you it is a lot of work to get your degree, but it's all worth it. If you are still doubting wether you are going to study architecture, DO IT ! At least if you really really want it, otherwise you are wasting your time... Greetz

  • tsss etsas bibiendas se ven geniales

kuando empiesa k es de noche se ben shingonaas amorir:)

    CONGRATULATIONS MEN'

  • ALUCINANTE!

  • I could've thought you were indonesian, just by the design of your houses! =D

  • have you been to Indonesia? its funny that the houses in Indonesia mostly the only design the "FRONT" ehheheh

there is no side or back side

and all the houses is very tight to each other, they like to maximize the land, and don't really care about the design actually

  • I was actually born in Indonesia my whole family still lives in Jakarta. You're absolutely right they only pay attention to the front =P

But also the interior convinced me that it was indonesian design. When you enter a house here in Europe you will be standing in the corridor, in Indonesia on the contrary you will be standing right in the living room.

  • oh, so where do you live now? can you speak indonesian?

Well, what you mention is totally true ... personally I don't like the architect here too, but some new architect I know in Jakarta have a better design in mind, but the problem now is the developer. If the are still design the neighborhood this way, it is still difficult to change the design should be.

I've been looking for a house myself, very hard to find that meets my taste and heart... either the layout, airflow, is almost all the same

  • Well yea I can still speak indonesian although with a little difficulty. Understanding is not a problem though.

Most of the time I speak dutch. I'm from Belgium by the way. I think it's interesting to compare different styles, especially because of my future studies (architectural engineering) I'm starting my studies somewhere near end september.

  • waw.. that was a beautiful house!! i hope i could make a house as beautiful as yours!

  • How did you got that B/W wireframe look on 0:25?

Looks very nice for something made on 2003 ! oO

If it looks this good on Scanline, I don't know what you can do with Vray lights.. ^^

  • Thanks, i think you are the only one read my video info :)

you can render the wireframe in 3D max, well I'm not doing 3D work anymore now

    -___-;

    though job in Indonesia

  • quiza lo de la gente es por que no usaste algun plugin para iluminacion, se hubiera visto mejor, y si algo mencionan es quiza por que ya se acostumbraron a lo que en este año se ve

  • how did you create the moving clouds

  • using a stock video ;)

  • what is that

  • nice video.

  • i think it loks nice

  • i will buy that house

  • i dont understand why are people complaining.... i love it! well done!!

  • Thank you, sorry just replying your msg. it's very late

    -__-

  • on what software has these work done??

  • all I use is archicad and photoshop. I still don't know how to use 3d max.I wanna ask you one question: what is Combustion for? is it some kind of graphisoft or ...? tnx.

    ps btw, excellent work!

  • Comment removed

  • Combustion is for compositing all the clips, its almost like photoshop for Photo, just finalized the video, adjusting the color, etc :)

the other software that similar is Adobe After effect

  • Comment removed

  • yes it's awful, agree... it was rendered using standard scanline from 3DS Max.

that time the CPU can't handle any V-ray/Brazil or any GI engine yet.

this project was done in mid 2003

  • did you get paid to do this?

  • yes, this project was for marketing material launch of housing area

  • i love it

    nice job bro.

  • thanks :)

  • not bad, too bad its for a bunch of McMansions!

  • what is mcmansions?

in Indonesia this kind of house is normal, its categorize for medium house, the price is about US$200.000-$350.000

the land is about 350-400m square

    but still I can't afford it for my self -___-;

  • hi can u pls tell me what do you call that stairs?i mean what stair style is that?

  • not sure, people here called it minimalist stair -__-

  • woaaah!

    Two thumbs up :D

animations like this never cease to amaze me.

  • Thank you :)

  • how much time took the render of all of this?[or at least the first neighbour]

    big render

    anyways good job !

  • it was about 8-18min/ frame

  • you rendered it by a server or through the computer?

    what is your processor?

  • it Was Pentium 4 1.6Ghz, we used about 5 - 7 (2 using our laptop)

this project was done on year 2003, it was the best processor that time -__-

I think we had one hyperthreding processor one that time. and 2 AMD

we dont have render farm server, so everything render using scanline (standard) engine

  • ah,my uncle rendering just houses and some times his pc crashing...and again good job

  • we crash a lot too, using windows xp SP2

that's why we render it to TGA, so when it crash we still can continue to render from the last frame that survive :)

  • Hmm my uncle using proxies to render big stuff like cars and so on

    you can try it too

and ill tell him about the tga heh he still got crashes some times

  • targa is not idea since tiff will preserve layer quality as well but take the same amount of time and compile just the same

  • oh it wasn't targa, I used RPF/RLA for rendering sequence. I don't really use TIFF for sequence rendering. Except for printing purposes.

I think you should try RPF, as it can save the z data. It's really good for post-production.

  • are you interior designer?

  • hmmm not really, just an artist :)

  • looks greate! if you can just look at my profil

  • Hello my bro can u make a movie ?? Is posible?? u know like actione movie i have idees for a movie and i don t have actors :D. Thanks man. Sorry for my english

  • hi, sorry for a late reply, what kind of movie? I don't do anymore 3D animation work, sorry bro~

  • a movie about the hood b boy drogs grafity life mothers beating by mans a real life of a dark hood with good boys. When i will have the scenario in english i will ride to u. Thanks any way. GOOD LOOK

  • very nice work. did you use Revit at all??

  • I'm not sure what is revit ... I use 3D studio max only

  • is this your profession?do work as a 3d modeller for architecture?i was going to go to school for it but the only program i really know how to use is blender

  • its almost similar, don't worry :)

I used to, but now I'm working as photographer

  • really?were you making good money as an architect?or more as a photographer lol?what do you photograph?

  • I hope so :)

  • for building 3d buildings, what program did you use?

  • skech-up

  • I use 3D studio max

  • what program did you use?

  • can u only do houseing or use it for other animations

  • I'm not sure, I did character animation once... but I still need a lot to study more...

  • nice job!

  • Thanks (sorry for the late reply)

    :)

  • It is nice, but there's nothing new or amazing, obviously it must be in the U.S. Life is so easy there... cute video

  • it's located in West of Surabaya (east java, Indonesia)

it is nothing new, the developer it's a friend of mine.

this video was made in year 2003, now the houses is already build.

    thanks for the comments :)

  • IT COOL MON ZEEN!!!

  • I have 3ds max design 2009, and i am a total novice. But i still think those architectural stuff is really good. I was just wondering, did you do the animation in 3ds itself? I mean like the core animations, not like extras and stuff

  • yes I did the animation itself, but a few people helping me modeling the objects.

I did the texturing also, the cars is bought from the internet

  • WOW I WANT A HOUSE LIKE THAT;........

  • What is this song? I've heard this before....

  • it is a song on the iMovie editing software called "Daydream"

  • I don't remember the title, it was my client who want to use this song for the video

  • nice

  • wat web site or disc did you use to do this. and bye te way this was reallly gooooood :)

  • wheres the song from? as i recall it was from the garageband sample songs.

  • it's prrety but ...

  • you are the best!

  • thanks, but still not the best -___-;

    I know someone better

  • not bad

  • its sims 3 beta

  • wow is this sims 3?

  • Ure such a retard x_x this video is from 2003 and put on YT on 2006... how can this EVER be the sims 3? tell me

  • I have a question rdali how did you start and what are the sizes of this house in 3ds max ?

Did you start by your own by reading some books or did you finish some educational course?

  • hi, I start by self study, from reading books, tutorials on the internet. the size were real scale from the original bluprints.

Btw this project was not done by me alone, there 3 people helping me for this project, especially object modeling.

I was more into art directing, texturing & animation

  • What program are you using champ :)

  • wow

  • wich PC components are recomended for this developing of details ?

  • any PC now is fine, it just a matter of speed now

  • it's cool

  • how long did it take to make this?

    it's fantastic!!

  • about 1.5 month

  • I'm sorry, my english is not too good. I've made some models in Sketchup. Can I use them (or import) to 3ds max, and work with tem?

  • well, the real house doesnt exists yet that time, thats why need to create the animation for presentation to customer.

  • why dont you just film a real house?lol

  • what about Cinema4 can do the same !!

  • should be can~

  • Umm...is 3ds max 5 still on the market? If so, is it LESS THAN $3495?????

Sorry, but I cannot justify spending that much on software, no matter how powerful or kickass it may be. Any suggestions, anyone? PLZ ):?

  • I'm not sure if it still on the market, but for sure some company may sell their old version

  • you can find the program on the internet , type " free download 3d max last version for " in the google .

  • awsome presentation. can you tell me what program did you use for the presentation. thx and good luck !

  • read the description and if your willing to spend so much on a program, then your a dumbass i dont think it is nessicary to spend all that money on a software like dat

  • holy shit! :O loads of polys :P

  • rendering quality is rly baaad but modeling seems good enough

  • thanks, its a scanline rendering.

I use a low polyghon for rendering to make a faster time rendering.

it was still take takes about a week to render the whole 15min scenes with PAL resolution.

that time is imposible to render using mental ray or v-ray

  • my vray beats the scanline (especially when using multiple cores and rendering over a network) ;)

its all about setting, but no flaming intended. Its verry nice stuff. I've just go lots of clients who are verry picky about wanting photoreal quality...

  • well, i know vray is much better.. I've using v-ray, mental-ray, brazil~ this project was done in year 2003, when vray and other rendering engine are still very heavy to use mate~

the best way to do is scanline rendering... well we dont have rendering farm here, and it wasn't in the budget anyway.

please see the description i wrote on the this page.

  • even without renderfarm vray is much much faster when rendering projects like this.

    Even without renderfarm.

In 2003 those engines were just fine and as easy to use as they are now. OK, mental ray was a pita to use back then. But vray has always been faster then scanline and verry easy to use. Low-poly doesnt make SUCH a difference in offline rendering...

  • so tell me how fast can you render with vray? i love vray~ i use it for rendering still images. scanline is standard in 3D max, it was about 8-12 minutes per frame for this project.

    I'm curious with ur work, well i'm not expert in this 3D things... so when I have another 3D project, I can hire you then~ how about that? I have to refure 3D projects recently ~_~;

  • How fast is difficult to say because it depends from project to project and off course the hardware you use...

Im not trying to bash your skills or anything, if you think that :)

Its a nice visualisation, but i just think if you put some time in learning a more advanced renderer you could get even better results.

For hiring me, just send me a message and we'll see from then.

if you tell me what you are intrested in, maybe i can trow togetter a quick example.

  • thanks for the input, I'm not saying that I'm expert on this 3D. you can see from my website~ I do many things... so my part on this project is art director.

Most of 3D project I get offer are architectural & interior, which needs v-ray or any kind of software rendering.

I'll let you know once I get the offer again.

If you can show me some works that you have been work for, and tell me the rendering time, resolution, frame rates of that project, so I'll know how fast can it go~

  • love it i love the flow of it 5 stars as well for me

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!! 5 STARS :)

  • great work!! are you using v-ray for 3dmax??

  • no, it was scanline rendered, I wish ^_^ but it was too slow to render

  • oh i see.. i am using v-ray for 3dmax for the 3d presentation, but i am planning to use an animation for the next projects...

  • very cool. what software did you use? did you use i BIM first to make the model, then render the movie in 3d Studio Max?

  • thanks, everything build using 3D studio max.... only the compositing and editing using other software like adobe premiere and combustion.

  • cool. keep it up.

  • great work man.. i always wanted to do things like that. but currently all i can do i rendering images. hahaha.. nice job.. really. :)
