though this has a scratch resistant glass surface, im still a little worried. though being a capacitive touchscreen that it is, please correct me if im wrong, it wont work with an invisible shield on, is that correct?..anyone... plz.

Nope, having a screen protector over the capacitive screen wont affect the screen much. but you might, say experience 10% less responsiveness if the screen protector is present...
