I just had my gastric bypass Roux-en-Y operation on Monday, Dec. 20th, 2010. I'm now out of the hospital, playing on the computer and taking pain medications!

@justyvonne well, im 21 yrs old. 315 lbs and ive been trying to lose it for 6 years. i loose 5 here and gain 10 there...its nonstop. Appreciate any info you got though. my grandma got the lap band and she lost over 100 lbs on it. but all the online resources ive researched says it costs like 10,000$+

Wow! That's amazing. I'm in the process of the lapband, being monitored and hopefully will take my 350lbs down to a no pain in my knees. A little scared however know I can do it and enjoy the rest of my life. I'm 43 soon to be 44 and never thin! Always up n down, the most I've lost alone was 60lbs and kept it off for almost 2 years. Ramon is very inspiring!

Not only Do I know Ramon from OH but I use to work for Beauticontrol and Ramon inspired me to get a lap band I went from 233 to 160 and a size of 16-18 to a 7-8... I am so happy to have a friend that helped me see both sides and complications... Love u friend

this video made my eyes teary. im also in a battle with obesity, i was active in the gym before and lost alot of pounds but my work was too stressful, and i went back to my old habit, now i gained all those pounds ive lost. and im not that healthy anymore, i was diagnosed of having an enlarge heart, i got exhausted easily, palpitation and shortness of breath. hope u guys could help me. thank and God bless all of you. i hope i could save my own life. please pray for me.

I had gastric bypass surgery on march 31,2009. I 'm already down 104 pounds in 3 months.
