  • When this young man gets to his body's natural weight while giving it plenty of nutrients on his healthy diet, he is going to have more women chasing him than he can keep up with.

  • Amen - eating meat is not the enemy. The enemy is sugars and excess starches (hard on the liver and will cause the dark eyes he referred to). I'm not saying people need to eat meat, but being vegan or vegetarian is not going to lead to health if you're eating the junk like sugars and starches. I saw miracle changes in my health with a no sugar, low starch diet that did allow meat in moderation. I've never seen the same benefits now that I'm mostly fruitarian - still good but not as good.

  • @thewaterfalloflove processed sugar is bad, natural sugar in fresh ripe fruit = our best fuel source. Look at all the great nations that were build on starches too, look at pasta, rice and the potato for example friend! Sugar is only becomes a problem when you cannot digest it properly due to too much fat in the diet. read 80/10/10 if you haven't already, doug graham explains better than I can and he includes studies and so on to reference :-)

  • @Semimaru, I am mostly fruitarian at the moment so I am not against fruit. Starches have their place in survival to keep people from starving during times of famine and for energy. It all depends on lifestyle really. A highly active individual needs a lot of fruit and some starches. There is evidence that pasta and similar foods can lead to disease though and can overtax the liver. I thrive on fats. Until the last two years when I abused my body I looked about 12 years younger than my age.

  • @Semimaru, but yes, I was referring to processed sugars so I don't disagree with you, but I can assure you that a person who is sedentary and rarely exercises is not going to do as well on a high fruit diet as they would other diets I could design for them.
