To live in a world without classic economic growth and overconsumption will be unbearable for most people but in the first decade of petrocollapse the problems of how to handle the die off of population will distract from this question. I think the lifestyles of Greek philosophers like Diogenes could serve as an example for intelligent post peak oil living.
