  • Hi , looks like you are having fun and lots of hard work. I'M new to this hobby and currently is building micro Foka , blue print given to me by SpeesterDen...

  • ....looks like you need a little more weight in the nose...it seems to have a 'nose-high' attack attitude.

You'd get a little more penetration and authority, and a more level glide, if you add just a penny in the nose.

  • Hi Bino43,

Thanks for your comments. I've experimented extensively with adjustments to the center of gravity. My results indicate that with a more forward CG, more reflex is needed in the elevons, negating any glide path gains due to the increased drag. The wing--"wet"--ready to fly--weighs just 5.14 ounces so it's not much of a penetrator regardless.

  • Thanks, i did not know this option for RC flight was available. Now i am quite interested, cuz' i too love to fly.

  • Thanks for you comments on the videos, Christopher. Are you flying RC now? Or interested in getting started?

  • Yes, i fly when i can afford it! I have always used a little motorized flyer though, and now i see you can just fling the thing into the air, and ride thermals!

  • Thats cool! may i suggest a longer tail in the center of the plane, the tail should be "taller" on the bottom it helps to get alot of height for DLG Flying Wing's nice job! the plane seems to glide very well!

  • great video, looks like a ton of fun!
