couldn't agree more about the 350 being the best motor ever! I have a '98 Chevy with the vortec 350, that engine HAULS. Still runs like new at 137,000 miles too. Nice vid.

run the block number on the gm canada its a 305 not 350 350 is 5.9 not 5.7??

350 is 5.7 liter and the 305 is a 5.0 liter and I have allready checked its the 350 there is no 5.9 liter chevy small block I have ever heard of

if you got a 5.9 its bored and stroked 350 is 5.7 liters do the math

@28z normally my automotive illiterate friend, if you are talking of a 350 being bored and stroked it's a 383, a 360, depends on what make it's in (ford and dodge to my knowledge prominently used them) ford used a 351 block bored .010 over and dodge, i'm not sure what they did, I'm not a mopar man :D

@freshmojo really? what year? every truck i see from 1965 and up and every truck guy I have ever ran into my whole life even when I sold GMC and chevy in oklahoma city never once came with a 305 V8 but maybe you had one snuck threw the line yanno

@thunderup86 its a 1996 Silverado 1500 came stock with 305, not sure if that is a V8 since im 16 and still learning, but we just put in a crate 350.

My sister and hubby had a 88 Chevy truck but sold it to my friend and he still has it. It rusted in the same places as yours. He's going to restore it next year as it is such a good running truck it also has a 350. Power windows etc. It used to belong to Bill Pratt the head honcho of the Calgary 88 olympics.
