what do you think of putting one Griffon in with other more powerful artillery pieces in order to use its "accurate bombardment" rule to guide the other artillery by using the squadron rules?

i'll be honest, i find the griffon is a waste of time unless you are looking for some cheap large blast templates for saturation.

Most games I play involve too much speed and agression by guard OR a firebase requiring higher strength large blast templates. When I use bassies, they are more often used to direct fire anyway, which doesnt work with the griffon. The bassie is just an all round murderer. Str 9 Ap3 Large Blast Ordnance direct fired is absolutely brutal against vehicles and troops.

I disagree with ntfh on this one, i think having 2 griffon's and one basilisk do the job well
