The most heartbreaking photo is taken from behind JFK Jr's back, as he watches his father's helicopter leaving the White House for the last time. It is haunting.
I know what it is like to loose a father @ such a young age.
I actually lost my dad in the vietnam war in Lao's, on my birthday when I was 10.
I was 32 when my mother died.
I can only imagine what it was like for the Kennedy's. It was a great loss for America, but an even greater loss for the JFK Family personally speaking. Even though Jacquelyn Kennedy, didn't show her sorrow publically & stood strong in the public eye's.
he loved his son so much it breaks my heart he was taken so soon. he didn't get the chance to see him grow up, never got the chance to help and see him become a man, may god rest ye merry gentleman.
I love how jfk says in sumah in his boston accent!

Where do you get that picture, the one with JFK saluting his dad and his dad saluting back?

No, it was definitely a greater loss for the country. The past 45 years would have been extremely different. There'd be a different society today.

Yes, I agree with you on that. I was just looking @ it from a different perspective & over lookedd that.

Yes, it is too bad he didn't live through this: I think this president may have been able to turn the world around for the better.
It is definately in sad shape today!!

10Dec1971,
I'm sorry for your loss as well. I know it can be tramatic, especially when you are young to grow up without a dad.
I lost mine when I was ten, so there is a lot I myself missed out on.
Though, I know the Lord protected me through it all & quided my life.
I got saved in 1991.
