Bugzelot, you seem bitter for some reason! I got one of these recently, and it's ace. Just take the meter to your consultant and plug it in to get the results. I had one of those Ultra Smart's, they were sooo complicated and the software wasn't very user friendly, and there was always hassles downloading the results in clinics - plus it's about 4x the size!!

I find this a lot easier to use than my previous ones

And to add. Most meters already have the function to upload your results to your PC, or download them from.

I mean they have no real tech support for it, and nobody trained (At the moment anyway) to troubleshoot it with you if you have any issues. I am a technician myself, so I have no problems, but the general populace would get frustrated with this device if they had any issues and you end up jumping thru alot of hoops just to get any satisfaction, or to get anyone to call you back.
