Lou had great muscle mass but he just didn`t have enough muscle seperation.. Lou out weighed Arnold by nearly 50 pounds, But from certain positions Arnold actually looks bigger than Lou because he had incredible shape and definition

Im sure some will differ but ask any expert and they will tell you. It is literally impossible for the human body to get as big as these guys get natually. You could train 6 hours a day doing everything right. You still would never get that big without using steroids. Everyone is different but it takes a lot of testosterone to build that much beef. BTW if you look at Arnolds early to mid 80s films you can see the obvious downsize from his peak competition days.

@mjthemoonman Actually Arnold used steroids for this competition. He says he only used steroids to maintain his muscle size and not for increasing muscle mass. However, I doubt that the roids only effects were that they allowed him to maintain muscle mass easily. Clearly, Arnold does not look like most of his physique came naturally.

@eloi000 most correct my friend, most don't know arnold's peak was 74. It is because of the film "pumping iron" that everyone thinks arnold's peak was 75 but it was not. Arnold had to make up alot of weight that he had to purposely lose for the film "stay hungry" then he decided he wanted to compete in 75 so he could be part of the cast in "pumping iron",originally he wanted to retire after 74 but didn't so he could be "pumping iron". Arnold in 75 was at about 90% compared to his peak in 74.

and he was in this contest successful only because of his popularity in bodybuilding before, the victory won a seventh time,that was really just wrong in front of the other great Bodybuilder like Tom Platz...
