Hi, many windows users, think that linux is so complicated. This is caused by the running some windows games with wine on the linux. I dont not why can not install dual boot, ubuntu + windows ? Many problems dissappears by this solution.
@notafakeaccount because the fact that linux/ubuntu hav little to no viruses out that could crash your system is an obvious fact of why i switched to ubuntu and also it runs A LOT faster and uses less RAM and CPU usage than windows does and also its free
Its a great video but i miss the sequal, it could be one showing how to change screen resolution adding soundcard support for various games, but when thats said a big thumbs up from me, simple and correctly showing how to install windows things using play on linux.
nothing seems to work....steam crashes on start up searched on google for the error in terminal and no one can seem to fix it age of empires 3 has so many problems and cod 2 dint work either :S im i missing something????
I have this + wine in my linux. I have a 64 bit windows 7 computer with a partition for linux 32 bit, I don't know if that's what doesn't let me use any of these softwate. Help
Excellent Video... Can I suggest you should fill out a more detailed description for your videos, it will help you videos get more noticed. Look at my descriptions, they are long, sometimes parts are repetitive because I copy and paste, but the extra words help a lot when people are searching.
Thanks. I kinda didn't tell that, because I was just going to show how it was possible to do it. But you're right... Maybe I should have mentioned that.. It is very easy and its fast. Anyway thanks for the comment :)
wow nice one! i'm guessing you still need a licence for office / money, right? you kind of forgot to mention that! ;)
thanks for showing us how to do it. i've never really tried wine, preferring to use open source linux alternatives, but that playonlinux application makes it seem super-easy to get applications working on wine.
