It is obvious that the reviewer is young. Young people don't really care about plot, emotion, consistency, substance, etc. They only care about how much crap you can shove onto the screen using the most up-to-date technology. I give this movie 1 finger up!

I'm 14 and I love the entire star wars franchise because of plot, emotion, consistency, substance, etc. Don't be so ignorant as a lot of people young and old love the star wars movies. The prequels are no exception as the have great acting, great storytelling, and, in my opinion, better action.

@MrGameandPichu Sorry to offend you, but I grew up watching parodies like, "The Naked Gun," and "Airplane" as well as classics like "Back to the Future" and "Predator". Parodies nowadays, such as "Date Movie," "Epic Movie" and all the other crap by Seltzer and Friedberg are not witty. They're not clever. They're not funny. They're simply an assortment of gags that nobody should find funny. Somehow, the younger generation finds a way to spend more than $369 million supporting their crap.

I guess I'm the minority of younger people who watch old movies. I mean some of my favorite movies are the marx brothers which are old as hell. I've been watching all kinds of films since before I can remember. One of my favorite movies is Jaws. Not to mention one of the funniest movies I've seen is Young Frankenstein.

The reasons why people who grew up with the original trilogy hate this film so much are as vast and as infinite as the Star Wars universe itself. You touched upon some of them. But the truth is that old -chool fans will never be happy unless it is re-made all over again with the verve and passion that made the originals so great.

I can forgive George Lucas for many things that happened to star wars, but the only one I am yet to forgive is changing the scene at the bar where it makes it look like the bounty hunter shot first and Han was only defending himself, uh George that kind of takes away a major part of his amazing character.

Sorry . I just don't agree with your 'review'. I own all 6, grew up with Star Wars. Saw every single one in the theaters. But this film just wasn't enjoyable compared to most of the others. It had its moments but to compare C3PO to Jar Jar? I think thats a little off base. Episode I was voted worst sequal of all time for a reason. It wasn't as good as the others. Its an OK at points movie but not Star Wars good. You just made excuses for everything rather then reviewed the film.

you can't tell me you think episode 2 was better than episode 1. Episode 1 is my 2nd favorite one. One was nostalgia when it first came out and it was star wars, but besides a few cheesy parts i actually enjoyed the fighting scenes and the characters. that's just me though

you said you didnt know why people complain about george lucas re-mastering the old ones with cgi firstly cgi is over used way too much and the old ones are classic and i heard when the old ones come on blu-ray hes gonna remove the puppet yoda and put in the ugly cgi one

That is a misunderstanding he is planning to make the CGI Yoda for all of the Prequel movies with the skin realistic ears that he had in the Revenge of the Sith.
