why are all demos like this really crap music shit on synths and why do people who try to sell you keyboards in muisc shops always play that funky type jazz piano music
That was sooooooo not helpful. Reaaly a non user would never be able to tell if the song was actually written on that machine or not and there was no tour of the machine....Some of the sounds were cool but nothing special. The Rave O Lution seems like a much more slammin machine
great rom player actually. superb sound set and great multitimberal implementation and effects. the problem is the sampling quality... sounds like 32khz or less.... dull.
great for composing with a midi sw sequencer however
This demo sounds very much like one of the early "General Midi" Keyboards (Roland JV-30, Casio CTK-750, Yamaha PSR-510). I doesn't show the real potential of the Quasar.
The whole demo... if you were thinking back in the day of getting this synth for 'dance music' Would have made you overlook the synth completely! & this is the machine that came out with Techno & Trance rom modules! .. What a crap demo to promote that capability.
Whoever wrote this demo should be beaten to death with a DX7!

@ChanticleerHegemony I am pretty sure it was someone who ended up working at Roland.

I would have loved to work for this company. Sadly, they just ceased to exist without any notice before I had even finished university. :(
