@starwalker97 Jagex didn't have WoW in mind at all when they made RS because RS was made BEFORE WoW, and YES they do attack like that, i've played RS i'm lvl 91 and i still do (rarely) and i tell ya they attack like that, but anyways, even if Jagex was to make an update for attack, the system still sucks compared to WoW's, i play WoW too, and i can tell ya WoW is 1000 times better then RS, especially for combat.

You just press attack, and you automatically follow them, so they could be running forever and you would still be following them attacking them. All you really need to do is eat some sharks and drink prayer potions, there is no set of abilities that you need to decide which one works best in this moment, and the weapons don't count for those.

If it wasn't boring, chances are you wouldn't tab out or absolutely require to talk to people to make it bearable. Mini-games are still mediocre gameplay and most things like Castle Wars are just jumbled 1v1s.

And yes, to get anywhere far in the game, massive grinding is required. Don't even try to lie, we've both played it. Combat is even a slow, tedious grind. I'll sum up 95% of Runescape.

The main thing you're forgetting is WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A LARGE PORTION OF THE GAME, and you've pretty much accepted that IT IS INCREDIBLY BORING.

i play both of them. And i need to say that the skills of rs make much good. AND wow is not even more popular, i mean look at the online players on rs DAILY. The price of WoW is really high too, what makes it kind of hard to pay every month. RS is bad at graphics, BUT, WoW is bad at quests.
