  • Thank you for this video..I followed your instructions & for the first time ever since cooking brown rice, it came out perfect!! Now you've saved me time..THANK YOU! I will try your method of cooking on stove next time.

  • I cooked brown rice this way exactly like she did and it was burned to a rock hard crisp and smoke was coming out of the microwave after the second cooking. I'm trying it again with more water and maybe less time.

  • NEVER use a microwave! It kills the vitamins and destroys the food's cellwalls. Then the body can't identify the cells as they are destroyed and the body may react allergic to the food! NEVER USE A MICROWAVE!

  • @Asiate Cell walls are mostly broken in mechanical digestion such as chewing and gastric and intestinal churning. What "identifies" food are enzymes, which act when in contact with their substrates--i.e., "cells" are not identified, but the much smaller molecules.

  • Thank you! I can make some great brown rice now!

  • does reheating brown rice in the microwave destroy nutritional value?

  • Thanks Win Nie, you have saved me time and money.

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks
