Actually, Beck was merely mediocre. He stood rigid in the same position the whole performance. The Wombats were vile. Dirty Pretty Things were alright and Moz stole the show. Idyat !

beck still is great, but he doesn't seem that motivated.i don't like his new image style that much with the very long hair,sunglasses and almost no movement on stage or in the videos,he just stands there. ok, you could say he represents the very core of music opposite casting shows etc.,however it would be nice seeing him a little happier and not like sort of a kurt copain^^

I endured a similarly uninterested(ing) performance at Rock Werchter. The audience doesnt pay to excite Beck, they pay to be entertained...hence, the entertainment industry. I am a big Beck fan, but right now you couldnt pay me to get excited about his live shows.

Honestly you cant think Beck matched morrissey that day? I mean dnt get me wrong I'd never heard much Beck b4 the festival and now I like him but Morrissey owned that stage, he didn't even play a set list showing more than 1/10th of his talent and he was still effervescent.
