1700kv x 6s x 3.6v x 6.5" / 1056" = 226mph prop speed - 15% = 195.5mph (314.6kmh), so GPS reading of 290kmh is pretty accurate, very nice. Keep on Jibe low, turn left and go faster :)
@NitroTom91 depends on pressure, humidity and temperature. Mach 1 is way more faster at 15km and 25km altitude. In the stratosphere project there's an unpowered funjet gliding at 600km/h at 22km altitude.
I've seen the guy with the 1600watt turnigy on 5 cell do 146mph. This guy has a video of his setup tappin 2500watts. Seems reasonable to me another 1000 watts getting another 40 mph.
All Record should be validated by an official personn ( i.e. Guiness).
Devices checked and calibrate.
But this Funjet has an incredible speed !!!
