  • i give them B for effort for this album going totally going out of their element but honestly not their best it wuz kind of like the ppl they hired to help with this album jus kind of ripped them off

  • Love this song :D

  • This is so cool because I was at the concerts most of these photos were taken :)

  • 19 dum dum plpp

  • Lovin' this !!! One of my favourites on RCM - as a fan of 30 yrs I think this is fab !!

  • I like this song MINUS Timbaland. Ugh. He puts the EXACT same garbage in all the songs he gets his hands on. I am a HUGE Duran fan, but this whole Timbaland crap is too much. SO happy their new album is amazing through and through.

  • Rap at its worse

  • worst duran song in my humble opinion, beating even 'downtown'

  • I love this song :)

  • I hate it when Duran Duran try to rap! Plus, John's bass sounds crap on this. Where is the amazing John Taylor tone of the 80's?

  • i liked them, then i like them not, then i liked them, liked them liked them. now i think i kind of love what theyre about

  • This is really crap, and it's sad you're deleting the negative comments but they're realistic. This song and this album are the lowest point in DD career.

  • @ApocalypseForFree .. YOURE 100% RIGHT!!! This piece of shit song is one of the worst songs by DD. And I'm the biggest fan of Duran. Why are these "fans" here delusional about and praising this and other sucky songs from DD?? The new album SUCKS!! And yes, it represents the lowest point in Duran Duran's history. Whats funny is that DD still have the power to make it big again! Why are they making stupid shitty songs?

  • GEWELDIG!!! AMAZING! OMG love DD!!!

  • I love this song!

  • Duran's changes and tangents always still have that Duran flavor. There is always a new place for them to explore and play in with music. Just like their bond song... it had to be a James Bond song but also sound like Duran. They are a clever lot. I am looking forward to the next LP. If they could only write and record so that it is not 4 yrs between albums I would be happier.

  • My husband and i have been fans since 1980 ...they have been apart of our own love affair. My highschool sweethear and I have been together for over 25 years already. WE LOVE THEM! Hope to meet them some day. We have family in the music industry.

  • LOVE YOU GUYS PLEASE COME BACK TO CHICAGO

  • As a fan since the early 80's I'll feel free to say that this RCM wasn't DD.........it was TT (Timber Timba). In the past, when DD changed, they still sounded like DD. Sure, I love some DD albums other fans hate (Liberty, Pop Trash, etc.), but RCM was.......well, just what was it??? An attempt to attract a younger crowd when they still have millions of fans who appreciate the DD sound. More DD sound = more happy fans. Here's crossing my fingers on the new album..... X

  • è un passo indietro..

  • ohhh...rock this song!!!...it's soooo sexy!!!

  • I agree! Always thought someone missed the boat by not having this as one of the first releases....would have been a great club version!

  • i do like this song

  • This should have been a single (or NiteRunner.) I believe the album would have done better among nonhard Duranies. Falling Down is the weakest track so I have no idea who's idea it was to release that....FAIL

  • @depeche609 "Skin Divers" was actually a candidate for a follow-up single before Sony Music pulled the plug early on the album. Also, "Nite Runner" was originally supposed to be Red Carpet Massacre's first single before it was changed to "Falling Down".

  • I LOVE THIS SONG IT JUST MAKES ME WANT TO GET UP AND DANCE WANNA JOIN ME. then again I am a diehard fan for almost 30 years. Ha !

  • @Valleygurl62

Ok valleygurl getting up now and dancing....At about the end of the year i'll be a 30 year diehard fan as well!

  • Always pushing the boundaries to great effect. True talent never dies. Love you Boys! (Big hug for impossibly gorgeous Nick too :) x)

  • My jury is still out on this song, I do like it, but it is Not Duran Duran, Before you cruxify me think about this. If they are looking for a younger audience, it can backfire. I also dont like the weak vocals from Simon. Could have been a great song for any American pop star, but is it Duran Duran? Just asking

  • @jlmarc01 Well it is Duran Duran (supposedly) and you say you like the song itself so what is the problem? Are you saying that you would prefer them to record material that you didn't like just as long as it was unmistakably Duran Duran?!

  • They just get better, like a good aged wine:) Delicious!

  • Sweet! it definitely have that timbaland beats.

  • I love this song!

Especially the chorus and timbalands ficky sounds

  • Timbaland rips it

  • loose the freaky and it is perferct, DD rouls!!

  • @heksje69 Can't lose the freaky, that's part of what makes it great!

  • me luv this song!!!!!!!!

  • Timbaland Did Great Job...

  • 3:02 is so Fucking!!!!YEAH!!!

  • love it !!!

  • ....The words in the backing vocals of the chorus are: "freaky, freaky, freaky".......Personally, I think this song is awesome the way it is; it's different than anything they'd ever done! Looking forward to Duran Duran's next musical venture!

  • If Timbaland had just left out his usual chickachicka sound, I think it would have made quite a bit of difference, and been a much better fit with Duran Duran.

I also agree with whoever said that it could do with more of a bass line.

Glad they tried something different, even if it isn't my favorite of theirs

  • Two years since the "Red Carpet Massacre" release, and this song still KICKS ASS. This song just gets catchier and catchier with time! Surely, it isn't Duran's signature sound, but it's a daring step into a different direction. I applaud Duran for delivering different goods each time and taking a ballsy chance with this song!

  • @stealth1020

I think that this can be said of pretty much every album of DD's. Remember how much flak they got for "Liberty"??? Most people have boxed DD into a particular (80's) genre, but truth is, these guys are always, ALWAYS, ahead of the curve, no matter which album you go back to. This song actually reminds me a lot of "Wild boys", packaged for a different decade. In any case RCM is as much of a gem as the Wedding album was, and this song is just as kickass as "hungry like the wolf"!

  • @AkizMe I have to agree with you that this song has something in common with Wild boys. Namely that it's shit!

  • @stealth1020

This is just a really Duran Duran signature, through and through!

I love it, been fan from the first time they hit it.

  • duran duran... is... the most... amazingly awesome... band in the... entire... WORLD!!!

  • awesome pictures. Nice music too.

  • i LOVE LOVE LOVE the new albums......A favorite song is Nice + most of the other ones....

the concert was great too!they are in studio so i hope we'll hear more new great songs:)

  • Oh come on people, Duran change, so can you. This song is awesome & my kids love it too.

  • @renee29404 It *is* one of the better tracks from the album.

  • ...maybe I am just getting old and don´t understand this avant-garde stuff

  • No. This is GREAT stuff! And Simon can rap too. :D (See his live vids)

  • Sorry but this is a disgrace, how does Nick Rhodes feel about this? I mean his influences are Japan and Bowie etc... Please youtubers don´t attack me...I love DD... The chauffeur, Late Bar, Come Undone, Too Late Marlene...THAT Duran Duran

  • I love Duran Duran's songs, I'm almost 30 y.o., and I always earned their song.

  • Theyre great!

  • I'd like Red Carpet Massacre as a single and also Falling Down is pretty good. Not my favourite DD stuff, but's it good to see them try something different

  • it's not so much that the song sucks, but it really doesn't sound like Duran. Frankly, I can't imagine why they would feel the need to do this. They have always been plenty funky on their own.

  • No No No!!! I can't enjoy this song, neither the album "Red Carpet Massacre" is trully SUCKS!!

But I still a Great Fan of Duran Duran (only The FAB FIVE)

  • LOL, I've loved DD since '82, still love 'em and always will love 'em. Have all of their albums...but I couldn't get myself to get this one. I've tried to like the songs. Just...can't. It doesn't even sound like them, if ya know what I mean.

  • I have all of their albums too.

I thought Pop Trash & Medazzaland were BAD, but now, they're not, Red Carpet is.

Tell Nick to bring Andy back.

  • They are a classic and have only gotten better with time. Timberland is a genius so who is surprised by the combo? Not me. Love it!!

  • gah I hate Timberland, ever since they basically took most of the credit for OneRepublic's song Stop And Stare, that really made me mad. All he did was make grunting noises and added some bass here and there, he didn't even write the song! What a douche, i hate timberland forever

  • I like it. good for them for trying something new and moving forward. they have not compromised their music nor did they sacrifice quality, and if you listen to the background, it's still very Duran Duran.

  • Very good music .

  • This song kicks ass! My favorite off RCM.

  • FKING LOVE IT!

  • By the way this song is about finding sex on craigslist and stuff like that

  • Duran Duran is still going STRONG!! After all these years...I've been a fan ever since I was a kid!...JT was to be my husband!...but sadly it never happened.

  • Guys .. I listened DD alllll my life and you know sth ...

Maybe you didn t realize but they are like Nick ´s hair .. it ALLWAYS CHANGES!!!

WE like it or not XDDDD

And personally I love them no matter what they play

  • @mikkavivian And you may have noticed that Nick's hairline has been gradually receding just like Duran's music. I would suggest that Red carpet massacre is very threadbare or to use a hair analogy almost bald! Having said that, The man who stole a leopard, from the new album is one of the best things they have done in a very, very long time if not ever. So they're not a totally spent force.

  • I love this song! I think it's a great song to dance to. I wish they'd have put this song out first instead of "Falling Down".

  • Arriba Duran Duran. Nice song.

  • If the radio would just play this song I know that it would go straight to the top!!! This song, Dirty Great Monster, The Valley and Tempted could make this one of DD's most popular albums!

  • yes. What a shame radios today blay only that shit of r'n b...

  • common is not boring, it would be good for a party!

  • well, like"row your boat"they did harmonize to make it good.good job timberlake, your good & deserve a pat on the back.

  • Love this song.

  • DJ?????or DD?

  • I like it, i wasn't born when DD were big and my mom and aunt have all their records n' stuff. I think they were quite embarrasing back in the day but this song is cool thanks to Timbo and JT

  • Honey .. without DURAN DURAN people like JT WOULDN T EXIST ....

  • Can you blame Andy for leaving??? what the hell is this crap???? a couple of bass slaps, and roger, where are the drums??? But then again U2 did that crappy techno album and recovered. But for dd to recover, they need andy back, plain and simple! Timbaland and timberlake stay the hell away!

  • andy left before they started making this album, the follow up to astronaut was ''reportage'', half way through that album, andy left and the record company thought the album wasnt very strong... lol, thats basicaly how RCM started

  • nunca olvidaré su presentación en el Festival Imperial en Costa Rica!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Excellent vibe and excellent album...life-long fan. Always impressed, never biased...so hip...so good :0)

  • This is from Timbaland =)

  • well, it's true, aparently in this album there are no real drums, shame that Tempted, i like it, but doesn't even have a bass line, all sounds made by a machine, i hope they don't work Timbaland anymore, the music sounds more like his music than Duran Duran's. RCM is a really good album but clearly not the best.

  • Finally before anyone accuses me of not being a true fan, I still love the band no matter what. I hope they'll rectify all the errors I believe they made on this record and put out better material.

  • And I do enjoy certain elements of this album to a certain extent I wont lie, however it could have been a much better record had they stuck to using less computerised instruments, and refrained from including Timbaland's vocal parts. I'm sorry to say this, and might get loads of negative comments, but I think Timbaland's production abilities are minimal, all his so called amazing "beats" sound exactly the same. I understand what the band were thinking when they went ahead and hired him.

  • please mention that this songs is already 1 year old ! Timbaland is now working on the best period of his life in his produiction !

If You don't like him no Problem

Cuz I do like him !

And I accept that this song could've been better ! I know that too but still it's an awesome song.

  • i dont think they had a choice ... epic/sony are idiots ... they should shop around for a new label ... and quick ... talk about divide a fan base and get no support afterwards ...

  • I have been a Duran Duran fan since I was a toddler.I remember getting this album when it came out, and to be quite honest I think there are great ideas, for example this song's vocal parts are great minus the Timbaland sections. But to be honest what lured me into loving Duran Duran as a child was the old-school 80's New Wave drum sound, thumping bass guitars, Andy's guitars licks (with that flanger effect), and synths etc. I admire them for trying to put out something new and different.

  • wow they sound alot different know then they use to reply if u agree

  • i have this album and is great , last man standing , red carpet massacre or box full o'honey are great songs , my favorite from this album are Tempted and The valley , but the one thing that i love more is how DD play this songs live ... they are awesome !

  • well its alot difrend that the rest of his albums even that album that was only sold 100,000 of them .well cant say that this is duran duran its like a new band mix or something.

  • This is the only song I like from that album. Timberland's voice is very cool on this track. Thanks for the video.

  • ....my youtube rating goes to the so called 'fan' critics ... this is an excellent pop tune...Duran Duran are still great and the new album (including this song) proves it...oh and the those that don't think so have lost the plot..Fans my butt hole!

    .... VIVA DURAN DURAN!

  • i can't imagine timberland ruining their tunes with his pointless back-vocals...

  • it is not soo bad,

  • Oh I hate it! why? Whay did they work with timberland and timberlake? They can do it themselves! oh im gonna cry. no way in hell I'm gonna spend my money on buying this album. oh man this is just so depressing i can't listen to the rest of this im outta here

  • It sounds very nice and It's Timbaland so if you don't even know him shut up please !!!

  • zzzzz......boring...pleas DD wrong turn. 8 keyboards and timbaland in charge..bad cocktail and very far away from the origional dd sound simply so mainstream that andy taylor had to go...come on guys you can do better....

  • The thing is ... this shouldn't be ABOUT Timbaland. It's Dura Duran - and Timbaland's sound is NOT DD's sound ... the two should never have been combined. I've got nothing against Timbaland - but I want Duran Duran to SOUND like DD ... and this is so far off the mark it's almost painful.

  • new era so they r gettin with the times. dont like it? dont listen to em.

  • The 'new era' of music barely deserves the title of 'music' ... and a talented, long-lived band like Duran Duran does not need to 'get with the times'. The reason I like classic bands, is because today's idea music sucks ... and if Duran Duran continues to partner with the 'new era', they are going to lose even their most die-hard fan base.

  • wtf ??

  • Who is the person that sings? Simon? O the pece of shit (Justin Timberlake)? Please, answer me.

  • I totally agree, I don't know why radio stations aren't playing it either...excellent music, you would still know it was Duran Duran, modern, distinctive & light years better than some of the crap in the charts...

  • this is a good song i want to get the red carpet massacre album, dont know why radio isnt playing it, the songs are excellent better than other stuff out there and it still has that duran duran sound, especially the bass. this song is good.

  • I loisten to the radio all the time and NEVER heard ANY new DD songs here in the Boston area.

    What's up with that??

I saw them in concert this past May and they were AWESOME as usual! Strange that they get no air play?? Is there a conspiracy??

  • looks like a Justin Timberlake song, too much different than duran sound's

  • i disagree. i think it retains duran duran's essence. timbaland did a good job at influencing the track but still letting lebon and the gang dominate. the same way with night runner.

  • That's what I was saying!! you would know it was Duran2, modern and distinctive, as is always the case

  • bullshit. duran is a BAND. ie drums, guitar, bass, keyboards. there is NO guitar or real drums on the new cd. Duran has a drummer! But, they use a drum machine cause thats all the brother can do. What the hell did Roger do during the recording of this crap. no wonder Andy quit again. All the little gayass raps in the songs are fucking gay as hell too. They screwed Madonna also. The beginning of 4 minutes is HIV positive its SOOOO gay.

  • Dude, someone has anger issues.

  • I love this song. It's so different from usual Duran Duran but it's still SO COOL!!!

    This is so creative!

  • Creative my ass!!!!! Its a dork on his computer/drum machine ruining a great band. There are NO guitars or real drums on the new cd. Thats why it sounds so different cause its all computerized instead of a band playing.

  • Timbaland produced the track so if he was not there this wouldnt be a song, so doent say its "not bad" and then diss who produced the bloody track

  • DURAN DURAN = <3

    i love all there music!

  • nice blend of the modern with classic duran duran

  • great song! they should make a video to it and climb on the top of the charts ;)

  • it's so long that i'm waiting for the video!

  • love their new / recent cd xx

  • Duran Duran is just rolling with the times, so get over it! Love this CD! this is one of my favorite songs next to Nite Runner! And I'm a Duranie since Planet Earth came out in 1980. DD 4ever!

  • plantet earth was 1981 - haha.

  • you need to study the CD closer... It states when each song was written... one of them was written in 1978

  • haven't had the chance to sample this album as yet, been a duranie since the start, great track hope the rest are as good,i agree they are going with the times, good on em!!!

  • how could they have mixed with TIMBALAND...

God , they sound nothing like Duran Duran anymore...

  • good shit

  • KOOL R DURAN DURAN!

  • this is MY FAVOURITE SONG!!!

i don't know why, but it makes me dream like noather song...

  • LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • When is the remix from the Arcticmonkeys coming out? They RULE! Has to be better than this stiff soulless THUGGED OUT wicky wicky nonsense. Duran duran are a great band. I am a lifelong fan since 1993 when I was a kid, but I'm sorry, this sucks. I am 21, and I am supposed to like this Timbaland shit at my age, this is the age Duran are aiming at. Well not all young people are stupid and have bad taste, some, like me-want music with emotion in it, not plastic cheese wiz. Sorry.

  • the remix is out now and can be found on youtube...its god awful

  • i love this song

  • Hi Irene, nice to know you. I'm mia from Jakarta, I've been hardcore Duranie since the magic Ordinary World

  • hi gorgeousmia,i have been a fan since day one,1981 to be excact couldn't get any better than that wouldn't u say

  • Oh hi roxette2, so lucky you are to know the amazing DD since their early days, cheers

  • u missed a whole decafe before that ... from someone who's been hardcore since planet earth was released

  • i love duran duran for ever and ever i live in lisbon portugal my name is irene

  • Gran canción, gran álbum, gran Duran Duran!!!!

  • Better video...THAN THE OTHER ONE

  • :P..............

  • excellent song and album

  • awful song. i like how timbaland forces himself over EVERY song. he's classy.

  • adorabileeeeee

    sensualeeeeeeeee

    stupendaaaaaaaa

    praticamente da orgasmo!!!!:P

  • ah si? ah si? un orgasmo geneticamente modificato :D

  • aha :D

  • super piosenka xD lubię ją :)

  • tta to jest fajne ja to lubie xD

  • great song!

  • è troppo bella !!! good

  • Świetne naprawde dobra robota xD kawałek dodaje mi sił normalnie xD

  • esta cancion tambien esta chida duran duran se la rifo con su nuevo disco

  • great!!!

  • Love this song....its one of my favorites of the Red Carpet Massacre album!! Cant wait for the tour!!

  • I just started listening to Duran Duran (I'm 12) and I think this song is really great but the sound has really evolved from earlier Duran and in my oppinion its not as great.

  • their earlier sounds were part of what was HAPPENING at that time in the music world. Musical evolution takes time, and they have been on quite a journey.

They've been able to keep changing but still keep their own style.

this is NOT one of their best. The beat is pure timberland and it's good, but the song is not very good.

  • Zajebista piosenka

  • awesome song.

In answer to all who wonder why this was not their first realease off of "red Carpet Massacre", I am pretty sure the Label balked at the very explicit content... why is bullcrap anyway b/c even if it Explicit lyrics, at least it tastefull, unlike so much of the ghetto crap we get subjected to. Probably the same reason why "bedroom toys" never released either. Which sucks on a major scale b/c it is a rocking song.

  • AGREED

  • considering that the label rejected an album that the band produced prior to the Timbaland sessions (which they made happen in the first place), I highly doubt that it had anything to do with the lyrical content here. one might still wonder why they went through the trouble of getting those sessions with him if they didn't even release them as a single though.

imo, Bedroom Toys wasn't even close to single-worthy either. just my though though...

  • Thanks. Great song, I love the pictures.

  • Zajebioszcza nutka !!! Tego można Słuchać !!! ;) ;) ;* ;*

  • adoro i duran duran^^
