  • takes my breath away

  • que piano es ese ..??

    that piano is the..??

  • practice more, much room for improvement. absolutely murdered the cadenzas, and not in a good way

  • Hey, Benthoven-- nice work. You're sounding really good. Keep up your practice, and I'm waiting to hear more performances by you.

  • exelent !

  • As always dear Ben, fantastic! Love this video! Love, Tamara x

  • Hey Ben we miss you , come back and give us another tune : )

    Rocket

  • Très bon travail!!! Merci beaucoup...

  • 1:14 - 1:20 when you do the chromatic arpeggio, make sure you hit the right notes, it didnt sound like it.

  • I´m practicing a very simple version of this beautiful piece. I hope some day to play the real one similar to your nice interpretation. I liked it very much. Thank you for posting it.

  • Wow, Ben!! It's awesome to see that you're still going with music after so many years. I'm hugely proud of you! :)

  • Dude you just play things that beyond your level there are a lot of mistakes but sure mistakes are normal for everyone but still even in the parts you play without mistakes are not good i am not gonna say something like you have lack of emotion because before that you must have a good tempo and well-balanced left hand right. its like you just press at buttons!

  • @95superbad He's just a kid, *dude*.

  • the right hand is too loud

  • the point is to bring out the melody...not the bass u got that right? LOL but okay not to be mean (:

  • The harmony is playing WAY too loud. Maybe try listening to others play? When you do the chords/intervals, there were too many wrong notes, and try adding arm motion and dynamics. The song is supposed to be like a "dream" and soft.

  • @cutiehellokitty789 The keyboard probably doesn't help, but coming from someone who just bombed this on their piano final, it is not an easy piece to play.

  • @themistressishtar yeah. He is really good for someone his age. Congrats.

  • Was there no pedal? This is terrible! Too many incorrect notes, even for a child! I'm 14, and I play this decently, and with emotion if anything. This was too mechanical for me...

  • really nice :-)

  • Hey Ben, Been a long time I was last on. Hope your doing well. Congrats on that new Instrument. What is your latest Video? Ken

  • that instrument looks pretty high tech lolz

  • Inspired

  • need pedal

  • @FourthSpell I agree with you! lol, the midi version just turned my notes into staccato lol!! but my next video will be on my normal piano :)

  • you could be really good just slow down a bit and think about dynamics. Also i would think about getting a new piano because that one sounds very digital and not much like a piano. good playing for your age, im 14 and starting grade 8 and would struggle with the fast bits, you are very good, keep it up

  • @pianodude007 Thank you, i agree with you. when i got the midi version on to my pc, for some reason it almost took all my dynamics out and made the notes staccato! lol... thankfully my next video will be on my normal piaano! :) i appreciate the feedback

  • alle achtung - find ich ur super !!!! weiter so !!!!!! alles gute - bri

  • How old are or were you please Ben?

very nice playing. Although a real Piano sounds a lot better. Digital just doesn't sound good with classical pieces. from NZ

  • @cyrium I was 13 when i did this video, but now im 14! my next video will be on my normal accoustic piano, this piano didnt sound very good lol :)... i appreciate the feedback!

  • What a load of CRAP! This guy is quantity over quality, why don't you just learn one piece well instead of a 100 badly. You're going to become a circus act not a concert pianist!

  • @ColdCaller5150 lol, i agree with you. the piano made the song terrible.. when i transferred the file to my pc it rid the song of pedal, and dynamics! fortunately my next video will be back on my normal piano! thanks for the feedback! :)

  • What a load of CRAP! This guy is quantity over quality, why don't you just learn one piece well instead of a 100 S H I T !!

  • I do love this piece Ben. I'm really missing you not posting more videos. How are things going for you? Check your mail, I sent a note to you. I have a few videos of you know who, for your eyes only, if you want to watch them. Hugs, Pam a.k.a. mom

  • @zoidette Thnks Pam! :) i will try to do atleast 2 videos every month now to post more up! lol and im doing fine!

  • hey ben why don tyou make any more videos?

  • @Hotdolard514 im sorry, im been very busy but i will try to do them more frequently! :) maybe 2 every month?

  • Liszt is a difficult composer to mimic. nice pauses. did u do them on purpose or were u remembering the notes? still good job.

  • @Rotarydragon Thanks you! :) honestly, i dont even know if i did them on purpose lol.

  • @dabiribd i think music like this is intoxicating and if the pauses are there to give the musician or audience a brake or build anticipation, dramatic effect, whatever the reason, i like the pauses. hard to explain, for the 3 seconds or less, i miss the music and beg for the next note(s) but, im happy with the silence. its odd, when i listen to music i reallylike, i press replay, other times, when the music ends, im satisfied and save it for when i NEED to hear it. does this make sense to any1?

  • play it slower....

  • You're alright, horrible digital piano though

  • are you mexican?

    greetings from cancun

    you are great!

  • Outstanding, Ben!!!

  • @ Martel211996

If you just enjoy his playing instead of searching for mistakes, maybe you can learn a little bit with Ben about dedication, humility and kindness.

Maybe he is not perfect, none of us are. Not even you, believe me. At least he is trying to make his best and this is enough for all of us, his fans. I love the way he plays, I love his enthusiasm.

I visited your channel and watched a couple of videos. You are talented also, but you don´t have half of Ben´s charisma.

  • I am moved to tears by his beautiful playing. Please don`t ever stop making such wonderful music!

  • Sending hello's to you and your family~ You are sounding Most amazing as always... Will we be graced with another song soon? Your Fan, Annie~

  • 0:40 is a C SHARP MINOR arpeggio and it just sounds dry and not flowing and is that sound even a piano>???????

  • I think that this piece is a little hard for you, don't you think? There are too many mistakes, and I think these are because of the sheet (maybe you you have a wrong version, but maybe you should check again the sheet). I have to admit, you'er talented, but if you play an easier piece, without mistakes, that can be more beautiful, than a hard piece with full of mistakes. Sorry for the critic, but anyway, keep practising! greetings

  • I love how this kid is so into playing the piano like me :) Ya go you kid!!! You rock!!

  • AWESOME! You are such a talent. It's always a joy to listen.

  • Ben, I always love listenig to you play....

  • at 0:40 its a c sharp MINOR arpeggio

  • chambon...

  • foolish

  • its good

  • very nice. I like the drama :)

  • you are a star really, keep him safe whomever keeps you because one day you will be big my friend :)

  • I've been wasting entirely too much time on Facebook which is twice as time consuming and half as fulfilling so it's been awhile since I've checked in on you. As always I'm very impressed and moved. I'm curious as to who is your favorite composer. I know you're busy Little Bro maybe when you have a second. With fond regard Jay.

  • sounds cool! have you heard this guy Yossi Hamami?

  • Sorry, but this is a horrible interpretation of this piece. I truly expected better from you. Both the cadenzas were horrible, the FF e major section had half the notes left out, the B major con passion section had a bunch of wrong notes. You had a lot of wrong rhythm executions.

  • omg! you're 13 already? you playing has improved tremendously! keep going, Ben!

  • Constructivly speaking, Hecho al pendejazo. Sin entonaciones ni nada, asi nadamas a la verga. Sin sentimientos ni emociones. Ta bien culero vato

  • This song is lovely. There are a 1001 versions out there with and without lyrics. It's been such a long time since I visited a lot of my subscriptions. I miss hearing your wonderful piano playing.

  • You're so grown up my little friend :) And you keep with your amazing work! I truely admire you :D

  • Dude where did you learn to play? i as old as you and i can barley play the entertainer

  • What happened to your piano ben?

  • You have to study with teacher this composition. There are no any intonation.

  • Great work ben!

  • That was awesome.

  • Wow Ben you've grown so much. Your playing has matured too. Well done Ben

I need to stop by more often.

    John

  • Hi, Ben. I don´t stop by for a long time, but I´m still your fan. :)

    You are just amazing!

  • wow - beautiful!

  • You've grown so much. From 3:00 on I couldn't stop the tears.

  • Incredibely Beautifully played. Exquiste flavor throughout the piece, such talent will propel you to the stars and beyond, I stand and applaud you for this wonderfully delicious sound that just filled my ears with pleasure. BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO!!!

  • I watched this to see how another young, fairly amateur pianist handles the cadenzas in the middle of this piece... I obviously have a lot of practicing to do, but you inspired me! I was pleasantly surprised by your fabulous technique, I have seen many young pianists take on pieces much too difficult for them.

  • Ben, what can I say? You're always amazing. Thank you for this beautiful cover! :D

PS. Don't care about those 5 idiots who clicked the wrong button!

    Hugs :D

  • Hi my dear friend Ben. As always, you did an incredible job! For me there's no other better than you. You always played with a lot of emotion. From your first video when you were a child until now when you're a young man. A true pianist. You're my inspiration. Sorry to hear about your loss. I can't imagine how you are feeling. But one thing I'm sure, you WILL overcome it all.

  • i remember 2 years ago you were the first supporter of me. and thank you. you grown so much...haha i learnt this song two years ago. when i was twelve years old

  • Hey, LilBen. Sorry to hear of your loss, but I've found that out of adversity can often come inspiration. I have a feeling you'll find new emotions in that new keyboard. Maybe it's a good time to work on your own arrangements?

    BigBen

  • wonderful! thank you Ben!

  • You're alway a great little pianist!! You're so cute :))

  • The keyboard doesn't have the same beautiful and rich sound as your piano, but your playing is as beautiful as ever.

I know things are hard for you right now but trust that they will get better soon. I'm thinking about you.

    Rainne

  • @chanceofrainne: i think so :)!

  • Awesome Ben!!!

  • Simply beautiful!

  • @OldRabit Thanks you very much! :)

  • so admirable and beauty :)

  • This is gorgeous

  • Fantastico

  • i havent watched your videos in about a year. You've gotten much better since the last i watched. Keep playing.

  • i know this kid kid in r/l dnt get me wrong hes good but i dnt think i should ay the rest

    Nice playing as always! ;)

  • Hi Ben:) Nice to see you, again and hear you, of cours;) You are still AWEWSOME!!! Take care.

  • Have you started to compose you own songs yet? if you have you should share them. It's alight playing dead peoples music but you get more satisfaction from making your own :)

Great playing and keep it up.

  • Thats very kool and excellent Dabiribd!! Keep doing you thing, playboy!!! No Doubt!!!

  • Ben! Remember me?! It's been a while, glad to have you back on here. -Chris

  • hey yeah - he has grown. been a while mate.......keep it up.

  • Ben I am so glad to see you playing again. No matter the instrument your talent shines through. You are what we watch these videos to see, not the instrument you are playing on. Good luck to you my friend. I still hope to see you in person one day.

  • Welcome to our area, we think its pretty special. I hope you come to enjoy it in spite of the upset that brought you here. I hope some way can be found to get you onto a fine instrument again. I really believe you need (and deserve) one.

  • excelente interpretacion ben, gracias por compartilo con nosotros ...

  • Just wonderful. So sorry to hear about your trials, but I know that one day things will look much better, and just the fact that you are still making music, in whatever form you are able to make it, is proof of that. :) *(*(*hugs*)*)*

  • Haven't looked in for a wee while. Take heart, young man, life throws rocks at us. It's all a test. Be brave, the divine music you play will see you through. God bless.

  • Beautiful!! Glad to see you again!

I hope you're enjoying your life in Seattle; take care! :)

  • beatiful

  • Amazing and so beautiful! It must be sad to leave behind your piano.

  • I was late to know of sadness you have experienced in your family. But must go on and I know your family can recover of what was been lost. But i was just happy to know that you and your family was safe,,,Cheer up Ben...u

  • Great job, Ben! We are flying to Seattle to visit in a few weeks!

  • @pianogirl98 haha! actually i moved back to virginia! My parents didnt like the rain there! lol thanks you!

  • you are AMAZING!!!!

  • Fantastic as usual. I'm sad to hear about the loss of your old home and of your piano. But that's life, it moves and twist and changes. All you can do is make the best of the situation and keep looking forward. Seeing as you're still making music, you must be doing just that. I hope you can afford a new piano soon.

    / Kim

  • Are you still playing recorder ?

  • hei get yourself real piano - this sounds ... not the way it should :(

  • God bless you my little friend, wherever you go, may you always be lucky, you are a special person :)

Beautiful piece of piano, really brilliant!

  • I'm also glad to see you putting up a video again, after so long! And of course it's a lovely piece, beautifully played. I hope things Start looking up for you. :)

  • Ben, it was a real surprise to see you pop up in my subscriptions, it's been such a LONG time. Sorry to see that life has NOT been going well during this time; I can imagine that it has you pretty much in turmoil. I do hope things start looking up again soon, and meanwhile, thanks for sharing this beautiful piece with us.

  • vary nice.. glad to see ya making vids again...

  • Ben it is great to see & hear you again, I am so sorry to hear what you have been going through my friend, Stay Strong

    Rocket

  • Good job, Ben.

  • Sad to hear that, Ben.

What a wonderful passionate piece from Liszt! Very well played in a very nice piano!

    Be strong and God bless!

  • Man, when I found out you had uploaded a knew video I checked out as fast as I could, please keep us updated! Waiting for next video! And I hope you can survive with a new Piano and home! I've just recently moved too.

  • I hope to eventually see you at the Van Cliburn competition in Ft. Worth, Texas, so that I can enjoy your talents live and in person.

  • sorry dude. nice playing though. that looks like the "piano" I used to have, I gave up trying to play... hope things get better, keep playing!

  • finally u are back !!! nice work bro !

  • It's been a long time and you continue to develop as an artist and master your craft. You never cease to amaze me!

    Peace,

    Debi

  • oh yay! you're back!! :D

  • The thought of u not having a real piano gives me a headache, & it´s unacceptable. Here u can find 1 for 1k $ or less, though u may need some patience & invest time to find one. Some ppl have it standing idle in a corner & taking space, & being too heavy to move around easily, they start hating it & would gladly sell it. I´m not talking theory here, I´ve seen it, & as u are a young pianist who needs & deserves a piano, & as ppl know from experience artists never have cash, they may give it free.

  • bow to the maestro!

  • Nice to see you again Ben! Sorry about your old piano :( Beautifully played on this digital though

  • very nice bro :)

  • beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!

    it's awesome

  • Ben! You're back! This is awesome, you've played this song beautifully, don't make us wait so long next time :)

  • It is so nice to know you are back, Ben. Thank you for sharing your wonderful music talent!

  • Hi Ben.....nice work :)

  • Thanks for playing beautifully.

    You are my inspiration.

I hope one day to see you in a concert hall.

    God gives you such talent.

    GO BEN GO !

  • hey ben. It's been a long time. Great as always.

  • Holy crap!!!

I've been looking for the name of this song for years! Thank you so much!

  • HI, Ben. It's great to see a new post. Wish I could hear you in a concert hall with a Steinway, but your groovy new Korg (or whatever it is) will do nicely for now. :D cheers.

  • Sounds kind of robotic.

  • Good job again Ben.

if your are around münster, let me know, i'd be glad to invite you to my circus show :)

    you play beautifully.

    Phil

  • I think it's funny how all of Ben's comments are so loving and kind. Don't get me wrong! His compliments are so well deserved, and he is extremely talented, but in the big bad world of YouTube, it's so rare to find a video where people are just kind and appreciative instead of spamming or trolling. It's very refreshing. Anyway, wonderful, as always!! (:

  • @xKaileyK I agree! It seems that no one every has nice things to say. They only exist to put you down or ridicule you, even when there's nothing wrong with the video! But his playing deserves the best of the comments :)

  • @xKaileyK How true.

  • Nice !

  • Lovely! Your piano isn't doing it any justice though! Does it have any pedals? Try and steal a Steinway sometime soon he he he.

  • Hi Ben! Long time, no see! Sounding really good! I agree with one of the other posters, I'd like to see you an a concert grand sometime! I think it would be truly grand! You obviously enjoy playing, and it comes through!

  • i'm so glad u are back made my day god bless you

  • I'd love to see you on a baby grand, taking full advantage of the dynamics. BEAUTIFUL as always :)

  • truely beautiful ben!

    i've missed your videos.

  • Awesome! Faved.

  • very beautiful, fantastic, powerful, full of love, is simply amazing.

  • Amazing job, as always Ben! Thanks! Nice to see ya! -Russ

  • Haven't seen anything uploaded by you in a while. What a pleasant surprise this is. Look forward to hearing more.

  • this is truly beautiful!

  • sounds beautiful man

  • Finally some music from your heavenly gift. We missed you my young friend.

  • I find it really fascinating ... you truly have a gift of bringing these classical pieces to life, many of them I start to enjoy only after I hear you play them on the piano. Do not grieve over much your old piano, an instrument has its charm, but the musician in you outgrows it. Remember always Ben, the music is in your spirit and not in your instrument.

  • Hi Ben , so nice to see you again , very beautiful piece , wish i had just half the talent you have , keep it up buddy

  • hello Ben you just get more talented every day if that is possible.....totally awesome performance......applauding.....your friend...katlin

  • wow new piano! :D

  • beautiful ben, glad to see something new from you :-)

  • as always, i am delighted : )

  • wonderful :)

  • I always look forward to your videos! Thanks for the pleasure you bring to me and so many others! Hope that cheers you up a bit, knowing that we really appreciate your hard work and masterful playing.

  • glad to see some new videos from you! allways as awesome!

  • You can actually play this piece!? I find It Totally impossible!

  • I'm actually learning this right now.

    Keep it up!

  • Wow, just yesterday i was wondering where you are and i was listening some of your old videos! Amazing surprise :) Thank you and hope you are doing well in Seattle. Have fun.
