So beautiful, isn`t it? My spouse of 9 yrs died suddenly of a heart attack. And Letting Go is indeed the hardest task for me in life. But at least I can listen to this song and feel the music and hear the words to articulate the emotion. And, once again, it`s from Barbra Streisand.

I too, cry when listening to this song. "Letting Go" is so perfect for Barbra; she sings it so beautifully and flawlessly! I recently lost my love of sixteen years and requested this to be one of the songs played during his memorial service... My love and I use to sing together while listening to this "Guilty Pleasures" album. My heart is so forever broken. ;(

Anyway, thank you so much for sharing Barbra's talent here... for all to appreciate.

Wow...Barbra is an amazing artist. If you're watching this video for the first time, you can feel the emotion with every note she breathes. It's also ashame that there are no real singers, male or female, in today's music. The music industry is subjected to listen to "helium-filled" singers who claim stardom after one gold CD...I can't wait until this style of singing comes back in fashion.

I have not seen this performance anywhere else. Wow! She was considering calling the CD "Letting Go." It's almost like she's saying goodbye to her fans or to recording and prepping us. I can't even imagine a world without that voice. I hope she's arounf singing until she's 100. Truly our modern-day Mozart ... a genius.

I don't think this is lip-synched either. She admitted herself in an interview that she wasn't all that good at doing so and that she didn't like to lip-synch. She wouldn't have the same connection with the audience that she is known for.

Try as I might, I can't make it thru this song without crying. It's worth every penny to own the cd/dvd of this. This version, (although lip-synched, I'm afraid) is SO much better than the one on the 'album side' with all the strings and such...

I'd go so far as to say it's one of Bab's best recordings *ever*, and yet so few people know about it.

This, too, is one of my all-time favorites - probably THE favorite. I have tried to tell if she is lip-synching and usually you can tell when she is but I can't tell on this one. This version is different, too, from the album version - slightly - but that is never an indicator because many times artists will record a "Live" version to lip-synch to in concerts. It will usually be slightly different so people will think it's Live.

This was the coolest thing ever, for her to release a live/studio video like this. It's definitely not the album version but it's so beautiful. One of her best live performances in years I think and one of her best new songs in decades. "Letting Go" is a keeper. Highlight of the record.
