@XXFLAVAFLAXX420 Rubbing alcohol works the best, it rinses clean the best. I've used vinegar as a final rinse to get the hard water off after letting my piece soak overnight. It rinsed clean too...and no vinegar taste (which i was concerned about). But I never tried it with just vinegar...

you pay around 10€ for one pack and with that you can clean the pipe (all parts included) something around 10-12 times.

if you use hot water, it will sometimes burn the resin if its hot enough and therefore you wont be able to get it off, will ruin your bong. this is why i use cold water

Resin, by itself, will never permanently stain glass. Cold water will make the resin more solid, making it harder to get broken down by the salt and absorbed into the alcohol. Warm/hot water (never boiling if you care about your glass) will begin to melt the resin, just like if you were holding a lighter over it, making it easier to remove.

Also i saw you used salt on your bong it is good for cleaning but after a while it will scratch the glass and will be clear too see after a bunch of cleanings. Lemon juice has a sodium in it thats a lot softer and doesnt show up on the bong at all plus it helps to take away the nasty alcohol smell and leaves a lemony scent so it has multiple pluses to its use.

@dorito818 I've owned two different triple percs and the best way I've found is to put the salt in the bottom, whether it is a beaker base or tube, and then turn the bong upside down and make it follow the path that the smoke would. it's not that easy, but it does work.

I found the best method, at least for me, put the glass stem in the dish washer along with the bowl (but not ash catcher bowls they have to be hand cleaned) and grab a plastic brush and put mint tooth paste in it and scrub the shit out of it. Comes out looking brand new every time.
