There are many US cities with subway systems some better than others: this one ain't as good but some like the Baltimore subway have nice stations, and some like the NYC subway have advanced policies? It really depends on the city!
@havenas1020 becuase of the regulations. according to the SEPTA charter they can only replace cars after 30yrs old and since they just bought new EL cars in 60s and the BSL cars/trolley cars were bought in 1981 the EL cars were replaced in 97-99 and the BSL cars are next.
@howardkevinm Not yet, no. they probably will be replaced once the Silverliner V order is complete. i dont think they want to go through another N5 incident again.

the flashing blue light means that the subway surface trolleys are not running in the tunnel and are being diverted to the 40th street detour route.
