@christopheguy I use an ibanez tube screamer, but i only add a small amount on the tone knob, so it has a fuzz face kind of sound to it, im also using a roger mayer axis fuzz so that adds to it as well
Great job. I've been listening to Buckethead and ended up here. I'm just learning how to play and this song inspired me to never quit! To the bitter sweet end!!!
@majmudarjimitrankesh Thanks. I use a logitech webcam, then a blue snowball usb mic, and im using kristal audio engine, which you can download for free
I think a lot of guitarists may believe this is easy to play and get trapped, missing the whole point of the solo which is all about the feeling. Not only feeling it in your fingers, but also deep down in your guts and heart.
I need to tell you, I don't say it often because most chaps on the web doing guitar videos think it's all about speed and technical skills. But you have an awesome, very inspiring feeling that only the greats have. Cheers from France !
Dooooooood you're the bomb man! I heard Maggot Brain on House so I looked it up. Learned about Funkadelic. Then saw you man you killed it dude propsss!
@stride7860 For soloing/improv, my suggestion is to never go all out right away, beause then you have no where to build up to, and that keeps it interesting. For songwriting i can't really give much advice, cause when i write songs on electric or acoustic, or coming up with lyrics, there's no thinking going on, it just happens in the moment. I can never sit down and say "im going to write an amazing song" So just let it happen when your realloy feeling in the mood
@FuzzismyBuzz i have the amp plugged into the tube screamer, then the fuzz pedal, then the guitar. I'm also using the distortion setting in the amp as well. And i do have them on all at once, i just switch from the bridge pickup on the guitar from time to time
Ha ha. Man. When you started rocking back and forth at first, I thought to myself, this is gona suck :) But you're actually pretty damn good. Love the improv. Keep it up man :)
What a badass. Eddie Hazel, I mean. JK...I think an old, blind, black man could tell the difference, but your nasty guitar face has more soul than your whole fucking high school. Don't ever forget that.
@mattspurlock absolutely right...and on that note, I'm practicin' right now! They don't even know!; I say keep it underrated, and let dem panties sloooowly drop!
(i confess i was evil - i thought, before clicking, let me see that boy mess with the best - and subsequently fail. The failure is all mine, now. OH WOW! If you think Gilmour is God, and Hazel maybe Jesus then it is evident that you are filled to the brim with the spirit of the Holy Ghost.)
@Neodreadlord What you're probably hearing is the tube amp, they sound alot different than solid state amps, i also use a tube screamer and an axis fuzz
@jKRAMER001 It's sounds brilliant... I use a les paul on a Marshall 100 and I can't get half as clean a sound... going to have to work on my gear a bit more... I love a classic sounding guitar like this. You working on any more improvs?
@Neodreadlord thanks. it took me some time to get a good sound, and im still always trying to improve it. Another thing that makes a difference is EQ. Higher mids and bass, and lower treble is what i use. The mids make the guitar stand out. I actually just recorded a guitar improv 5, all i have to do is edit it, i just got imovie so im going to be putting out alot more videos
@jKRAMER001 Man I need to work on my gear.,. I'm using a les paul with a 100W Marshall... still not as clean a sound as this... You working on anymore improvs? you have a serious talent man!
@thismayhurt23 i used to practice alot more when i first learned how to play, but now i practice less, and whenever i need to do something it just comes out. now i focus more on songwriting and scoring my friends films :)
I'm glad there are only few guitarists like yourself that play emotionally; not just ripping on the guitar, but to feel almost SURPRISED that the sound that has been emitted is from your own fingers/guitar. Love it dude.

I'm fresh out of certificates at the moment, so you'll have to carry this honor in your heart. Funk on, little bro!
@retroguy02 it depends on what amp you use. if your amp has reverb and/oir presence those are good to use. plus your treble, mid, and bass have an effect as well. i put my treble lower and my mid and bass higher
well done sir
