  • If ya'll like Angel check out Selland Arena Concert Fresno Ca 5-10-78.

Its a whole concert live!!!!(audio only)

What we need is some live video footage

  • I dont believe this shit? I have not heard these dudes for long time? People don't know how chics loved this bands image.. 80s soon took over with stupid hair cutts ..By mid 80s 'Poison try pretty boy image sweeping the united states, But completly destroying the word ''glam'' forever period.. The sun will have to spin around the earth a few billion times ''or vice versa" before the Sweet'' image is ever cool again..

  • @dannyhood66 yeah those " tears for fears", soft cell and duran duran cuts were a trip. then came the whitesnake, steve vai, cinderella big hair bands. then back down to the grungy look. if Angel wore suits and crew cuts they'll still kick ass. thanks for watching !!

  • @kingemerald1 Your welcome

  • Not finished....lol I had a whole week to listen to the Godz LP, or 8 track, and they were a great bar/opening band. But Angel blew me away. Ironically, someone years later gave me the bootleg of the Tower show I was at- still have it- and the thing that was great which I forgot was the opening part with the 20' Angel, the holographics and the voice of Gabriel. Angel was great. Thanks for the memories....

  • @Cinnemax77 awww man, that's so cool. you got the jump on me cos i never got to see them live. i bet that was a tripp seeing them open for Priest. but hey, rock is rock. better than michael bolton opening for ozzy, lol. thanks for stopping thru.

  • Yo King! I still remember my first Angel concert- March 10th at the Palladium in NYC. They headlined with, of all bands- Judas Priest and the opening act was 'The Godz.' I was an Angel fanatic. Then the following week- my cousin's friends asked me to go to the Tower in Philly. They played a triple bill but instead of Priest Hawkwind played. As a musician myself I dislike to put down other guys or chicks for that matter- but they sucked bad. The Godz rocked, however.

  • Nice man!

I bet you remember that sensation when that special combination of power chords made the hair on the back of your neck stand up and you knew you had a killer album on your hands ...

How exciting it was to share that new find with your buds and what not .

Music like this truly made the early 70's a great time to come of age brother!

    Best to ya!

  • @attila1, thanks !!! yeah buddy, i still go wild on those power chords and wicked intros, lol.
