i really like the avatars, im just worried that theres guna be a really limited number of options for them so everyones guna look the same, and yourl have to pay to get any sort of induviduality from the system. I think its likely :(

that would be badasss, just sit there and watch the movie but there would be time errors like if one person wanted to rewind it or something of that sort. and getting your own video controls would make it no more convinient than just turning your movie on at the same time.

me too. i found out they just kicked everybody off for a day because they were testing it. i love 360, but honestly i heard that youll have to pay for things for your avatars even though theyre free themselves. it might be only shit like cosplay outfits to brand names, or everything(i hope im wrong on that account). it is quite the way for bg to make some cash though(like he needs it lol). but my only care about this is im glad they still have online games.

Secondly people aren't pissed with the Avatars. They just feel that they didn't need it. Secondly don't even start about the copying issue. Sony copied Microsoft's Guide Button with the PS Button, Sony copied Nintendo's Motion Control when it was announced and implemented it poorly. And Sony copied the Mii's with Home. Don't believe me? Go do some research Fanboi. Also many people are already talking down Home and saying it's just all hype.

it seems youre the one getting stirred up lol. my cousin owned a ps3, he switched it out for a 360. he said because ps3 didnt have enough games.(he actually was a fanboy type). anothe note sony didn't invent generations or perfect it. honestly all i would be able to see in ps3 is warhawk(when it came out), a few more games(not more than 360 btw), and internet. the online gameplay just straight up sucks(srry to be honest). they wasted with the blu-ray because they don't even use the excess space.

Plug it in the internet? Please learn some terminology. You need to connect your console to either your DSL Modem or Cable Modem directly or through a router. Secondly yes you need XBOX LIVE. You can get the update if you have the Silver Membership which is free. However you cannot use NEtflix if you don't have a XBOX LIVE Gold Membership which is $50 a year.

You do not pay Microsoft to connect to the internet. You pay an ISP (Internet Service Provider) to get online for example a company like Comcast. Then you pay Microsoft for the XBOX LIVE Service because you are connecting to their servers.

It has nothing do with them being an American company. So get off your high horse. Sonys online model of a free service has proven in the past that it does not work.

Secondly how many games are out on the PS3 Network compared to the 360? Plus how many users are there on the PS3 compared to the 360? It's practically nothing compared to the XBOX LIVE Service. With my $50 a year I'm getting Netflix Streaming, 247 online access with little down time, bonus content for free, and many others extras. What does Sony's PS3 have? Just free online play. I have no issues with Sony but I do have issues with Sony Fanbois like you. Oh and just so you know Avatars are free.

Microsoft is providing this update to both Gold and Silver (FREE) Members. This means that the Avatars are completely Free and will work as promised for the Silver (Free) members. So please again Sony Fanboi please get off your soap box and stop pretending you know everything about the LIVE Service when yet you are not even an owner of an XBOX or even a customer on the XBOX LIVE Service.With this new update a lot of people are now starting to feel they are getting they're $50 worth.

Yes its called R.R.O.D. and has been fixed mostly by the falcon motherboard, but it will be completely fixed when the new Jasper motherboard comes out.

the avatars aren't copies of the ones on the Wii. They are made by Rare (Viva Pinata).

Just because it is made by a different company does not mean it is not a copy. The idea it's self is a complete rip off/copy. Just because on the Wii it is called Mii's does not mean it is not a copy. The Mii's are Avatars. If you don't believe me do a search on Google and Wikipedia. Both Mii's and the XBOX Avatar's are called Avatars. Microsoft just didn't choose a clever name. Again don't believe me do some searching on Google and Wikipedia.
