I can't count how many times I woke up early for the Saturday ABC Morning Special to watch this movie. It was by far my favorite childhood movie! I can not believe that you're also behind Frog and Toad and Curious George, among other favorites. Thanks for making some of my favorite childhood memories :)

I remember watching this movie over an over when I was like five and six, as well as the second one (which wasn't as good, in my opinion). I don't know what it was, perhaps just the thought that our toys were more than just toys, which was a fascinating idea to me back then. And Ralph was made very well, so cute. ^-^

I used to love this show as a kid. Rarely does CGI impress me anymore. More often than not, I prefer effects such as the one in this.

Legend is another movie that stills looks fantastic to this day that would be ruined if done nowadays with CGI.

This was one of my favorite things to watch as a kid. My mom recorded it off the TV and I watched it over and over. I think I wore the VHS tape out because I watched it so frequently.

I heard from someone who went to a ghost town and they saw alot of ghost in the picture they took at the ghost town. They must be the souls of the people who died in the abandoned town. You will never knew.

As i was 3 or 4 years old (1987 or 1988) i saw this film in tv and felt in love to ralph so that i gave my soft toy mouse the same name. This toy still exists.

I'm sitting here, watching an old VHS tape with my Gf and am amazed at how funny, and great this movie is. I'm definitely taking this to show my daughter... I have a feeling shell fall in love with it as much as I have... they SERIOUSLY don't make movies like this anymore. I believe there is something special with stop motion animation that makes it more entertaining to watch than CGI.

When we made this film mid 80's, we felt pretty good about it. But as time went on, CGI made it look very crude. When I was at Sony Imageworks, many comments were made about it when we were starting Stuart Little. I always tried to pretend I was elsewhere. I find the kind comments here very touching. J.C.M.

Not to long ago I was talking to this girl, and somehow I brought up old school shows like this one, Gumby and Clarissa explains it all etc.. She looked at me like wtf are you talking about? Thats when it hit me that im old now lol.. and then I carded her to make sure she was over 18 lmao.. CGI has its moments and all, but new generations totally missed out on the art of classics like these old school shows.

I remember how they would show it every 2 or 3 weeks on ABC on Saturdays after the cartoons went off. When I was small I considered it coming on as the official end to the cartoons that Saturday morning.

My girlfriend has a video cassette copy of this which I found while cleaning up her place. I flipped out when I found it. This brings back so many memories. ^_^ And it's true, now that I look at it, the stop motion animation is rather creepy.

I was a fan of the books and preferred the books, these short films didnt really do the justice Beverly Cleary deserves, but the films are better than many movies todays and other crap Ive. I have always liked Ralph, but Ralph is reckless and foolhardy. Of course, I probably dont have room to talk. They do have a version of this on DVD now.
