I love the dynamic aspects of the solo, and the unique phrasing. It's quite technical and very intriguing to listen- and to watch to. I don't know if people who prefer linear music, would find this entertaining. I on the other hand, like it alot. Not once did I get bored even though it lasted over 9 minutes.

This guy is great. The first part of the video i was shocked. To keep timing that slow and still throw in those fills go back to that slow ass timing like a metronome. Great dynamics. Killer single pedal work. Only drummers would understand how hard that is.

but i used to think that reso head tighter than the batter gives more depth and more decay in sound?

tune the reso head of the bd as low as possible to give u the best low end! you cant compare the bd to other drums, you tune your snare diffrent then your snare dont you?

the only people who would not be able to be blown away by this solo are people who do not understand anything about playoing drums... and there are many of those out there, I understand that you dont have to have technical knowledge to appreciate a solo, but this IS a DRUM CLINIC demonstration, so please dont complain about the solo being too boring, or technical, thats the WHOLE POINT! Its not a generic solo for a general audience.
