the only thing they left out in this video is Russia handing out more Russian passports to ethnic Russians living in the Ukraine. Ethnic Russians make up aout 11- 12% of the Ukraine. Not many people with Russian passports there -- Ukraine does not allow double citizenship, so the vast majority of Russians there are Ukrainian citizens only. Even an article I read in the US media says so, so don't make wild speculations out of sheer Russophobia.

The Ukrainian national security and defense council has been investigating what apears to be what I stated. That ethnic Russians with Ukrainian citizenship in the Sevastopil area have been recieving Russian passports. This is the city that has the main base for the Russian Black Sea fleet. The lease expires in 2017 and Ukraine may not let them re-lease it. There is no way the Russians will allow the loss of that base.

neither does south ossetia. only ethnic ossetians were allowed to vote in that very flawed referendum. also, you should know that many georgians were ethnically cleansed from south ossetia in 1991. if they had been allowed to keep their homes the number of south osstians wanting separation would be much lower.

also, there needs to be a reason for secession. south ossetians are not persecuted. their are self determining within georgia.
