  • I just read "Star Trek Memories" by William Shatner (aka Captain Kirk). It was a must have for anyone who loves Star Trek.

It's alot of behind the scenes which are shocking and breathtaking. It's not what you expect definitely tells a tale of both worlds, on & off set.

This is a collector's items & I'm to get my copy signed my b4 he groaks Get your copy wwwamazonsellstk/memories

  • awsome!!!!!

  • Captain Kirk sent me here.

    That is not a joke.

  • F.U.N.N.Y.

  • this movie is a big piece of shit...

JJ is good for Lost but pls stop to do Star Trek movies u don't have the feelings thx.

    French fan.

  • @ppatocthereturn your a piece of shit, the star trek movie was great

its not anyone elses fault except your own for not watching it at the movie theatre, stop watching movies on your computer idiot, how do you expect any movie on your computer or tv to equal the greatness of a hollywood epic movie...

  • @ForgottenCavalry Calm down and be polite with people...

This movie is not a Star Trek period. It's for young audience who didn't know what is really Star Trek essence.

Not ur fault but u need to learn.

    Ur welcome ^^

  • I thought it was a good movie, love the humor, Nimoy's cameo and the action, but I think that McCoy's role was underplayed.

  • Roddenberry was a pathetic lecherous lying hack.

At least the movie was a TOS reboot; could you imagine how crappy it would have been if they had decided to do ANOTHER ^%$%$ing TNG movie?

  • Comment removed

  • @Evilmike42 If roddenberry was pathetic and treacherous the whole TOS and TNG would be pathetic lecherous hacks since he was quite involved in making them. he also came up with the whole idea of Star Trek so what the hell are u calling him that? Oh I have to agree with u on one thing though. I never liked TNG

  • NO. I'M KAPTAIN KIRK!!!!!

  • IIII'MMM CAPTAIN KIIIRRRK!!

    :D

  • New movie sucked.

  • I under stand how Captain Kirk feels but gettng mad is not the answer, getting even is. Just set ship 's phasers to frag and blast that no good new Enterprise to Judgement Day.

  • Rough edit, but man that works! LOL!!

  • New start trek is a piece of shit, come on Bill, come back for a real star trek feeling ! ^^

  • Brilliant!

  • Can´t argue with good old Kirk about this... ^^

  • lmfao

  • I'M CAPTAIN KIRK NOT THAT PIPSQUEAK!!!

  • Best video on YouTube!!!

  • the film was quite entertaining but cmon it did lack alot of braincells to appeal to the masses, it'll take alot to beat wrath of khan but ppl dont want to think anymore, just action n cheap jokes now. dam simpletons

  • the new movie was a really good movie. Not the best Star Trek movie but just as a movie it was fantastic

  • lol... fucking awesome...

  • that car chase scene and the beatsie boys music was so stupid it made me wanna vomit in rage

  • For everyone saying they should've put Shatner in the new movie, I'm not sure how they could have. After his death in Generations, they would've had to bring him back from the dead, & doing so would've involved so much backstory that it would've taken forever. Still hated the new film, by the way.

  • @fecxor I think you're right (though Roddenberry could have made it work, IMO, but he was just amazing). I would like to see a return of KirkPrime in the sequel, though. I'm sure the explanation could be summed up rather concisely if they did it right. If Kirk and Spock prime have a reunion, then this NuTrek stuff will be redeemed for me. Otherwise, I agree, it really doesn't compare at all to TOS.

  • Really he's Captain Kirk? When I saw all that guy liner on I thought it was Adam Lambert.

  • oh man i got a -7 and i didnt even remember what i said can someone pm me. thx. quit taking utube and the internet so seriously. :D

  • BWAHAHAHA

  • wtf

  • wait... who's captain kirk?

  • William F.N. Shatner is Captain Kirk, and anybody else is juts a wanna be poser.

  • Wait... who? I thought this guy was CAPTAIN KIRK!

  • Hahaha! This shit is funny. I love shatner AND the movie. Never really watched star trek though so I guess my opinion doesn't really apply..

  • @sackapoop your opinion does apply this was not just a bad star trek film but a bad film in general

  • @DukeFame420

No. Wrong. While the premise of an alternate reality is extremely shaky ground for any film to stand on, Star Trek does it magnificently with brilliant acting, casting, and music. This film did not set out to resurrect the old franchise of Star Trek and anyone who expected it to do so is an idiot. This movie was the beginning of a new Star Trek paradigm, just like Star Trek: The Next Generation did. Crawl back into your hole and keep trying in vain to keep the world from changing.

  • @OWADesign I expected to make some sense and be a decent film it did not deliver, I didnt really expect it too resurrect anything def not TNG considering those movies sucked too. btw what was Kirks allergic reaction? that shit wasn't funny in Hitch and its not funny in Trek.

  • love it this kicks ass lol

sad thing about the new movie is that it has one good scene in it that was edited by someone ellse from the rest of the movie it had to have been because it was the opening scene and unfortunatly was edited by a master a ture artist. i hate when they do good things in bad movies

    :(

  • Why do you lie?

  • aye lukewarm shit, without nimoy or quinto it would have tanked balls. i wonder if abrams even watched star trek, the new bickering spock/kirk/mccoy with little humor sucks as do the no more straight lasers. like terminator salvaton another pointless mindfuck reboot, the music for this and terminator sucked balls.

  • Lukewarm shit eh?

Is the before or after it runs out of your arse

  • After, on week after to be exact. 1 week in the snow, in Calgary during a blizzard.

  • Abrams has said he was never Trek fan, however the two guys who wrote it were supposed to have been. I guess they missed the episode where the characters actually acted like hero's instead of spoiled 90210 rejects.

    In other words Every Episode.

  • True, very, very true

  • yes! love it!

  • great job on the edit to few good ones out there

  • LMAO! bah hahahahaha!

Man this is gold. I've seen the episode this is off hilarious.

  • Dude has issues.

  • Funny.

And to all of you running down the movie, STFU! I am an old fart, (45), and have been watching Star Trek longer than most of you have been alive. Every movie has its flaws, but this one was some of the best Star Trek to come out of the studio in a long, long time.

  • @jtkirkfan2002

What a nice thing to say, from a twelve years old kid who watched only one episode from TOS and the new movie.

  • @jtkirkfan2002 I think everyone is allowed to have their own opinion about the new movie. I didn't particularly like it for a lot of reasons, the main one being that I didn't feel it was as loyal to the spirit of TOS that it could have been. Just because you've been watching TOS for 'x' amount of years more doesn't make your opinion more valid. I've seen all of the episodes and movies, too, and I formulated an opinion based on that. That's great if you liked it, but others are allowed not to.

  • @maswellasm I never said people didn't have a right to an opinion. I thought Paranormal Activity was a complete waste of time for instance. This was NOT a bad movie. Can you seriously say that Nemesis was better? ST09 was true to the spirit of the characters and it was fun to watch. That was something that couldn't be said of recent Star Trek movies.

  • @jtkirkfan2002 Sure, I thought ST09 was good in it's own respect, but that fact that it was trying to imitate something as amazing as Roddenberry's work sort of turned me off of it. *I* also personally felt like it wasn't very true to the spirit of the series, or at the very least, didn't exactly capture the essence of what I love about original Trek. But I really feel like remaking TOS at all was a mistake. IMO, it isn't TOS w/o all the original actors and Roddenberry's writing.

  • @jtkirkfan2002 I guess I agree with your last point, that it's better than a lot of the other Trek-works that have come out as of late, but in respect to it's comparison to it's predecessor, I'd say it doesn't compare at all. But again, that's just my opinion formed by own impressions and biases of the series.

  • @jtkirkfan2002

Right on! I'm 33 and I've been watching since I was 5 years old. I thought the new movie was great!

  • I want all you fuckers to stop complaining about the new movie. It was good and how do you expect the legacy of our heroes to live on if we don't keep it alive. The new movie was made out of respect, none of the actors tried to copy anybody and the original actors were nothing but supportive Leonard Nimoy was in the whole process of making this movie. There is a point to the actors being young it is before the original! They're supposed to be young. This video was funny the comments are stupid.

  • Well, Uhuru is no longer a heroine of mine. She was once an independent black career woman, intelligent, motivated, cultured, great role model.

    Now she's Spock's saucy poontang. :(

I think I'll go back to my Sex Trek porno "tributes."

  • yeah one of the stupidest ideas in this movie and all that just to appeal to the superficial plebs I'm actually glad Roddenberry cannot see this trash

  • well that's precisely the problem they didn't try to copy translates to they are NOT like Kirk/Spock/McCoy etc. and supposedly we should believe that they are those characters it just doesn't compute

  • Well if you take into account the whole alternate timeline part of the story, with Kirk losing his father etc, it's fair enough to assume they would grow up to be different people. It's thin, but good enough for Hollywood.

  • @relientk58 With respect, I disagree. Replacing thoughtful stories with mindless action & making excuses to unnecessarily alter beloved characters to the point of unrecognizability is not, in my opinion, "keeping the legacy alive." The film seemed cheap & hollow, & felt more like a rehash of Star Wars than a "bold new vision." My goal is not to come off as rude or make anyone mad. I just respectfully disagree with your opinion.

  • @fecxor Thankyou for stating your opinion respectfully. I may have been a little harsh and I understand where your coming from. Of course your entitled to your own opinion and I admire how you calmly stated it. Thanks again. :)

  • @relientk58 P.S. Chris Pine did an okay job. He didn't bother me too much. The writers had much more to do with why I hated the film.

  • @relientk58 New Star Trek wasn't terrible, it doesn't have the screen chemistry of the old crew, which means it just isn't great.

  • @relientk58 I'm sorry, but it wasn't a good movie. You love it because you loved the original which was a masterpiece. Unfortunately JJ Abrams just doesn't have any depth.

Look, I sympathize with you guys, I really do. I love Star Wars, but the sad reality is that the last three movies that came out sucked. Period. I back it up because it's star wars. But really, gungens? Same thing with the gay fantasmagoria that was the last star trek movie.

My suggestion: Gin, and lots of it.

  • @relientk58 The problem I have with the movie was not the fact that there were new actors playing classic characters, since they all overall did an pretty good job, my problem is with jar jar abrams.

It looks and feels more like Star Wars than Star Trek, and WHAT is with all the lense flares? If you are going to make a Star Trek movie, DON'T get a Star Wars fan to direct it.

ST09 is not much more than an action movie full of plot holes, though, I will admit, that it is kinda fun to watch.

  • @relientk58 I have to both agree and disagre with you. The acting was top notch, the sfx were mind blowing. But the story sucked massively. It seemed like it had been written with incredible haste, the science behind the story, the main plot's pivotal point was incredibly stupid. And yes, building the Enterprise on a planet's surface was absurd. But I still liked the movie enough to buy it on DVD.

  • LOL!!!!

  • lmao! brilliant.

  • The one and only.

  • Fantastic!! Or should I say, fascinating??? Great work, great message too ;)

  • Even though I loved the new movie, I have to admit this made me laugh.

  • Nice! Scene from 'The Enemy Within."

  • I must be getting old, but the new ST just seems like kids in a HS play. They seem way too young to be in the positions they are.

  • I would agree. The actor playing Kirk, just turned 29.

Also, Watching this scene, how can you say that Star Trek didn't need an update?

This is almost unbearable to watch.

  • Kirk was 34 in "The Deadly Ears" and had been captain for several years by that point so Chris Pine is not that far off.

  • holy sh!t! i haven't laughed that hard in a while! great! im still laughing.............

  • ahhhhhhaha

  • Haha that's classic.

  • HAHAHAHA

  • LOL. XDDDD

  • Nicely done.

  • from what I can tell

    he's captain kirk

  • Absolute genius.

  • lmao awsome

  • Hahahaha, wow this is awesome.

  • perhaps the greatest human being who has ever graced this realm of existence. i am deeply honored and humbled to live on his planet. i am moved to tears by his glory. love and eternal respect for this awesome man!

  • LOL!!!!! That's so funny story!

  • Loooool... I expected it when I realized that the footage came from The Enemy Within, but still, I must admit this was hilarious :-D.

  • Hilarious, thank you for that.

  • Nice one dude :D

  • Silly as it may seem, I like WS as Kirk, instead of the politically and morally correct crap floating about now, (Mr Abrams). WS Kirk is/was just plain nasty, vengfull etc. REAL! So BRING BACK William Shatner as Kirk, one more time please before he's gone to.

  • I hate political correctness as much as any sane human being, but I have to say, I'm not sure what you mean. Yes, Kirk was a badass and a maverick, but he wasn't nasty. He had a knack for knowing when something was right, and he didn't take crap, not even from Starfleet. He even got himself demoted back to Captain (which is what he wanted) by doing the right thing TWICE, but not necessarily in the way Starfleet would've approved of.

  • hahahahahahahah great !!!of course he is 4ever :D

  • hahaha! Nice!

  • ROFL LMAO. Good one!

  • haha, well done. thats perfect

  • Lol, shatner at his best, acting the reality and not what works on the screen.

  • lol is that from the one where kirk was split into good & evil?

  • yeah

  • This is realy great.

But i Still love both generation - Chris and William

  • HAHAHAHAHAH

  • I lol'd. Hard.

  • no, EEEEEEEEYYYYYYEEEEEEEMMMMMMMM CAAAAAAAPTAAAAAAAIN KIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • looooooooool

  • funny

  • you gotta love it,realy funny, i now its old news but the new movie is mind blowing, amazing!!

  • that was awesome......

  • no, i am captian kirk!!!!!!!aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • perfect!!

  • Great job! very funny.

  • He IS Captain Kirk! The true Captain Kirk!

  • The tow-headed kid with the big teeth bugged me. No way that is Kirk. I agree with Shat:

    He's Captain Kirk.

    He's Captain Kirk!

    HEEEEEEEEEEEEE'S CAPTAIN KIRK!

  • This is funny. Oh and its interesting that people complained when they killed Spock in Wrath of Khan but no one really complained when they killed Kirk in Generations. I do love Shatner but the new Star Trek is a great "re-imagining"

  • The reason they don't complain for Spock is that he died dramatically saving the ship, and had a really good speech. While Kirk did save millions of people, we never saw them, and therefore had no connection with them, and all he said was "Oh my..."

  • possibly one of the funniest things ive seen

  • He is captain kirk ... and he did not let the planet vulcan be destroyed either!

  • Thank you! I liked the movie but am I the only one that is like WTF!?!?!?! You killed Vulcan?!?

  • People complained like this when they "killed" Spock in only the second motion picture for Star Trek. And it was hailed as one of the best films for star trek.

Also, did "killing"Spock stop them from bringing him back? Nope. So what makes you think they wouldn't try to bring Vulcan back again? Especially with a "future-Spcok" that knows how to time-travel and has in the past (movie four).

  • Touché!

  • great video obviously comin from a real fan :)

    5 stars aren't enough, lol

  • Very funny!

  • Absolutely BRILLIANT...GREAT job!!!...;)

  • wow

  • SO-----BRILLIANT!

  • Yes, I do believe he is Kirk. :) lol

    Shatner is so awesome.

  • Brilliant!

  • LOVE IT!

  • "IIIIIIIIIIIII'M CAPTAIN KIRK!!!!"

  • Oh LOL...

  • Ahhhhhahahahahahaha!!!!

    That was awesome!

  • Man, that guy can ACT.

  • This is funny as shit. Awesome! Good work man.

  • I AM CAPTAIN KURK!!!!

  • ....? Wow...

  • Shatner blatantly would have said "hello handsome" to his younger self

  • LOL too awesome! Shatner is definitely the one and only Captain Kirk. :-D

  • I dare you not to have nightmares with 0:51 captain Kirk.

  • he is captain kirk

  • Ver very funny 10/10, cant wait for movie btw

  • genius

  • Absolutely BRILLIANT!

  • tsssss

  • William Shatner has been and alwasy will be Captain James T Kirk

  • I loved the end part at 0:54 where he bangs his fist on the table haha

  • hahhahahaha
