  • sweet vid

  • This is going in my favs :)

  • @smuggecko faved this too

  • thats is amazing

  • very informative video

  • Fantastic. I love it.

    Thanks for the great vid's.

  • I love zooms at universe pictures, they're like OMG we're so small...

    Amazing vid! ^ ^

  • Amazing video...

  • check out my video and channel maybe sub. also the earth is very wide!!! and big but you never know when it will end.

  • hi bro, i ask to many times with everybody about seeing the star in the space while the are landing on moon or while they are in the space station. In those photos there are no stars which we see from earth they said space is like day light situation but here when we say hubble then we see colors of "corel draw" and shiny stars in the space called as galaxies? what is the perfect video to understand this phenomena for guys like me?

  • @hakku303 Hi hakku, If I was you I would go to the BestOfScience main youtube page or go to their facebook page 'ScienceReason' and ask your questions there.

  • Lol @ all the christian fundies.

  • Thank you. It means so much to have these videos here for anyone to see.

  • Why can't people just be happy observing the astonishing wonders of the universe without conjuring up a God? The human ego can't even rest in these wonders lest it's paltry sense of individuality be lost, always thinking their must be something greater, more wondrous to satisfy its petty imagined existence.

  • 0:26 Check out the human face at 1one o'clock.

  • The natural universe is awesome!

  • That just makes me so horny.

  • Nice video with good info. Cant wait till we can travel deeper in to space and visit some of the 552 XO Planets + .

  • Light is free waves electro magnetic radiation. Hydrogen is closed loop electro magnetic radiation. In space light combines to form hydrogen.

  • All it combines in outer space to form hydrogen. Which is why the universe is on the force generation of stars

  • Space is awesome.

    Gotta go to space, yeah!

    Space? SPACE! SPAAAAAACE!!!!

  • 3:23-3:32.....that's real? Really? Fuck.

  • Light in outer space makes hydrogen. This is why we are on the force generation of suns, and we have not run out of hydrogen.

  • @JonThm No silly, light comes out of your eyes and then reflects off stuff so you can see it. Thats why you can't see anything when your eyes are closed - duh

  • Light makes hydrogen. Which is why we are on the four generation of stars: the hydrogen would have gone eight billion years ago other wise

  • @JonThm - Do you mind telling us which creationist website you learned the little titbit of non-information?

  • Why would anyone dislike this video?

  • This video isnt as amazing as the bible stories but its ok....LOLOLOL the bible. There are still subhumans that read this piece of shit and ignore science..wow

  • @699backstab You're a fucking dumbass. Its great that you believe science can solve all your problems, but you don't have to go around putting down other peoples beliefs. btw not all christians are hardcore and reject science you ignorant fuck. Judging by your post you seem really narcissistic and think of yourself as better than people who believe in religion. fucking hipster

  • @MaSecretLife THANK YOU.

    you are beautiful.

  • Actually I have to go around and come down on ridiculous beliefs. Its ingrained in me because I am homo Sapein. I have an innate desire and responsibility to segregate and shame and make examples out of the fallen, the failed, the faithful. All religion is an enemy of my species, the great ape. If you think that there is an invisible sky daddy who dolls out cancer to kids and then rapes them because he works in mysterious ways, then you may leave the planet .You're not welcome. You're treasonous

  • @MaSecretLife I'd like to point out something about your post... If a Christian believes in evolution and does not think the Earth is 6000 years old (things like that) and believes what scientists say, then aren't you nit-picking and choosing what you want to believe in the bible? The bible is the word of god apparently , am I wrong? Why don't Christians believe everything it says in the bible (I may add some do), hmm? Because the bible was written to control the masses and is nothing but dogma.

  • Wait... can a star explode and collapse in only 6,000 years? Something seems off here. Wait! 170,000 light years? Now I KNOW you're lying!

  • @jmthetank

Wtf you are talking about? Rewatch it carefully before you jump to conclusions and accuse s/o.

  • the universe is a science experiment in a lab = even better :P

  • There's no room for any kind of god in this universe... It doesn't make sense; all of this was made billions of years before the first bible banging moron came to be... I hope they will eventually fade out of society to let our species evolve in peace.

  • i love your voice

  • Its wonderful to be alive in a time when we can discover these beautiful albeit deadly places in the universe, and to see the achievement humans have made technologically to capture these images for us to enjoy.

  • an exploding supernova looks like a diabolo toy, go figure

  • And to think God made this wonderful universe in only a few days. It's amazing.

    Pray and god bless.

  • @thedarkone2134

Lol I see what you did there...

  • @thedarkone2134 citations needed

  • 5 people didn't like this video. lol

  • Awesome!

  • All praise to Allah (GOD), He Motivate us to explore his creations of universe.

    spectacular, Glory to Allah.

Forgive us and guide us all.

  • @ASNNetwork Give it a rest

  • @tlowndes2 :) okay sure,

it was the thing went through my mind when i watch it.

I recall all the most of the versus about the way GOD created the universe.

    i just shared my comment,

any way sorry if its hurt.

    cheers. ;)

  • @ASNNetwork citations needed

  • @insanewarlock666 No no! That pulsar is as fast as others! xD I meant it took pictures of the dust and gas disk that surrounds it, and you can actually see it evolve outwards (the pulsar itself is too small to see more than intense light); sorry for the bad explaining ^ ^

Sorry again, it was 15 years of discovery not 10 -.-. But here you are a chapter from it where this appears (advice: get this documentary, it's gorgeous):

  • Watched this while listening to "Journey of the Sorcerer" by the Eagles. Good mix.

  • Always fascinating, as we probe deeper and deeper into the Universe. The imagery, and the discoveries, are breathtaking!

  • 1080p FTW!

  • @cbgkorn,

    Amen to that!

  • German accent alert!:-)

  • Isn't "God's" creation amazing.

  • That closest supernova looks like a hourglass

  • Light is free electro magnetic radiation. Hydrogen is closed loops of electro magnetic radiation.

  • ultimate british accent?

  • @h4rdstyl3r1337 German

  • SCIENCE! FUCK YEAH!, its gonna save the MOTHER FUCKING WUR-ROLD!

  • @madjimms maybe

  • amazing footage

  • Light rays in outer space interact to produce more hydrogen nuclei. These are drawn into storms to do nuclear fusion to form light. This process goes on for ever. There was no big bang, there would be no the crunch. The universe is not expanding. Matzinger goes to and from energy.

  • @JonThm No, that's not how light works.

  • god=fairytale. Universe without god= great

  • @Neueregel

Universe made by God=even better and breathtaking.

  • @marcdaddy33 You have no evidence whatsoever. Now go pray in your Church and I will think for you

  • @marcdaddy33

    How is it better?

  • @ParadoxAnonymous

One of these days you atheists are going to realize how dumb that response is. Really, it isn't that there is NO evidence for God, but that the evidence that does exist (however great or small) is NOT enough to convince you. it's NOT that there is NO evidence that would be satisfactory in your eyes to show that God in fact does exist. Really, if God were to appear right now, you would conjure up some way to explain AWAY the obvious- that God appeared in front of you. (cont)

  • Part 2

So what ever evidence that DOES exist it wouldn't be enough for you anyways. Far more evidence for God than the "Multiple Universe Theory" ( conjured up in order to get away from the logical conclusion that scientific evidence point towards a Creator.

At any rate, I do not wish to get into any sort of debate about the subject. I just want to enjoy these videos. But I had to respond to that INSULTING comment that presumes a Theist doesn't think by definition.

  • @marcdaddy33

Calm down. I haven't threated your belief, yet.

There isn't any absolute proof to prove, or disprove a "god", and that is what's most frustrating. There's no evidence for "god", and not because the "evidence" some theists have provided was not "satisfactory".

I know a magical, benevolent, omniscient, omnipotent being won't appear before me. Why? Because quiet sure that being's existence is improbable.

  • @Neueregel kinda rude man

  • @ThatInternationalGuy TY very much

  • @Neueregel Why do people like you always seem to bring religion into these type of videos? Who gives a shit if god exists or god doesn't exist. You're as bad as a religious person coming on here and saying gooood made this all!!

  • *@makmegs i give lots of sh*t because I was brainwashed as a kid and I hate the idea of god. It's utterly pointless and unnecessary. A religious Mankind is a shame to the Universe.

  • @Neueregel So standing from a neutral point of view, you're just as bad as the old jehovah's witness woman trying to shove pamflets down my throat in the middle of the street. You sir jumped from the frying pan to the fire and guess what, you still burnin!

  • @makmegs "Burning" ? that's ridiculous metaphor only a religious person could come up with. Break free of your delusions little human.

  • @Neueregel Wateva, you're still as bad as someone who's religous and trying to convert people. Both of you are trying to shove dick down people's throats whether you like it or not mate

  • @makmegs Wrong analogy. I don't try to shove any D*ck in ppl throat. IN FACT, I'm trying to PULL THE religious D*CK OUT of People's throats. That's different. Enough with the religious oral job already.

  • @Neueregel Fact of the matter is, both sides need to shut the fuck up and let people choose what bullcrap to believe in. If someone wants to be aethist, budhist or hindu then so fucking be it. No one should go around yelling oh that ones not good cause its brainwashing or god is great cause he is great.

Let people enjoy videos on the wonders of the universe without bringing religion into it for once mate, thats all i'm saying. I'm just tired of hearing crap from BOTH sides, its annoying as fuck

  • @makmegs - Fact of the matter is correct. FACTS MATTER and claiming an imaginary friend created the universe is fine but the moment you spew your BS into public then get ready to have it corrected.

  • @Neueregel you should know that yesterday Stephen Hawking became an evangelical born again christian. so becarful what you write.

  • @mythicalhell and then you woke up

  • @Neueregel A universe without god would mean no universe. Both the micro and macro universe were spoken into existence for a reason. It's a playground that is given to those who take advantage of what john three sixteen has to offer: to take our skills, talents and memories into a life eternal so they don't go to waste. A great opportunity to explore the galaxies awaits those who know....thanks ;-)

  • @DfunkShowzReRun John 3 : 16 is a little FAIRYTALE like THE 3 LITTLE PIGS. The only difference is that the former is about 2000 year old. Also, your claim "A universe without god would mean no universe" is LOGICALLY incoherent and FALLACIOUS. Don't assume imaginary beings. Let go of your Human biases, try to look the Univenrse as it is. OBJECTIVELY.

  • @Neueregel That's cool. Not hear to argue with you; but rather to extend an invitation to eternal life. To explore the very universe that impresses so many people all the time, and once that's done, to see what else there is out there. I would also believe "him" to be imaginary, but my life has led me to know otherwise. Hence the invitation. Still, to each their own. Thanks for your reply tho. Blessings. :-)

  • @DfunkShowzReRun Dude, there IS NO PROVEN eternal Biological life. Only unclaimed assumptions and wishful stone-age thinking. Even to the atomic level, all atoms do DECAY and don't wander eternally. read some nuclear physics. Also, each on of us is a colection of just 100 trillion cells with a temporary Centennial capacity for life and Intelligence. Cherish your single unique life and don't delude yourself with "wanting" more lives than this one. There is no proof whatsoever.

  • @Neueregel Well, there's nothing I can say that could ever get you to listen, mainly because of the fact that it takes 'faith' to see a God whom has created a universe for all to live in and enjoy. But if you wish to believe that a short life span is all there is, so be it. And no, I'm not pushing a church, religion, denomination or otherwise. All I know is the God I've come to know, has created a universe that as many of mankind as wishes to, can enjoy for the rest of forever.

  • @DfunkShowzReRun Good that you figured me out I'm glad. I enjoy a Universe without belief in god, and life at its maximum for my last 10 rational years. You also claim: "if you wish to believe that a short life span is all there is, so be it.. " WRONG! It's not that I 'believe' that me and every single human currently has a FINITE lifespan. That's THE PROVEN FACT. The oldest PROVEN human was a French woman living at the age of 122 or so.Everything else concerning eternal life is wishful thinking

  • @Neueregel Cool. Thanks for the chat. I enjoyed that. Bless you. :-)

  • @DfunkShowzReRun No problem man. I don't believe in 'blessing' but anyway, thanks. I enjoyed it as well. Have a nice day, evening night or whatever.

  • @Neueregel Physics: the human race is on chapter 1, page 1, paragraph 1, word 1, letter 1.

  • @DfunkShowzReRun

I find your egoism quite frankly mind blowing. I don't think you understand how arrogant it is to think that the universe is here for you and our planet is the one where all important things have happened. Try to dust of those provincial beliefs about gods and fairies. They won't get you to the stars, science fuelled by curiosity and checked by doubt will.

  • @omegavalerius But what if, there really is a God that has created a universe as a playground, & has made a way that would allow the ordinary mundane human being to be given a regenerated body that could live forever and explore the universe for eternity - and then some? Out of all belief systems world wide, a Bible-based one that connects the individual to the Creator (on a personal level) has the best pay-off ever. Otherwise, everyone ends up in the same place, if not, only some get to play.

  • @DfunkShowzReRun

Believe what you will but don't expect that people find those beliefs humble. I find the part where you mention the word playground fitting. It is a childish belief indeed to believe everything is made for you. We can explore the universe in all its glory but what a waste of human energy it is to not do so now but to hope that you might get another go on the swing later.

  • @omegavalerius Thanks, but not "me" but "we"; any human can choose said path into eternity; but it's a time limited offer - and no person knows exactly when their time will be concluded in the here and now. A Bible-based belief system advises simple preparation for the inevitable. As corn-balled as the acronym states it; it's really a 'Believer's Instruction before leaving earth'...! Thanks for the chat.

  • @DfunkShowzReRun

We are in agreement then. You long to leave this earth to join your god and I can't wait for god to take his crew to the stars so we can get on with civilization :). Thanks you for the chat.

  • @omegavalerius Thanks for the chat. However, if the universe does belong to God, then He determines they that gets to explore it's purity, and they that are prevented from spreading sin, perversion, corruption, violence, etc. in it. Wish you were onboard, but there's still some time until the doors are closed again - will be praying for you. Thanks. :-)

  • @Neueregel Absolutely !

  • @TheAtheistSocialist Thanks. Friend invitation sent. Greetings.

  • @Neueregel And that is why the universe is great

  • @denisfilming indeed !!

  • @Neueregel your intelligence = Amoebozoa. Therefore, Universe - your arrogance = the remander of what is.

  • @Neueregel did you just realize this?

  • What awe inspiring photography!

Also, was wondering when we were going to see more of these. Being worth the wait doesn't make me wish the wait was smaller. ;)

  • My momma said that space is a big black blanket with little holes in it. God puts it over us at night so we'll stay warm

  • @psychoscribe13 your mom is deluded.

  • @Neueregel

momma said deluded is as deluded does

  • @psychoscribe13 ahaha forest gump FRW

  • 3:45 - 4:25 just close your eyes and listen....

  • Who are the morons that dislike this??? Is it even possible to not be astounded by this?

  • The Human also is not sure where living

  • I got a boner watching this video.

  • Astronomy always amazes me so much..... zooming in, you can see stars and galaxies forming before you own eyes, so far out in space, it doesn't even make sense!!! It's so awesome!

  • What is this new devilry?

  • The patriot act finally pays off for the rest of us. Thank you Harry Reid.

  • Had a busy day today, just come to my office to go on youtube and relax. This was the first video this evening.Feel well chilled in only 4 mins. What a great way to start an evening.

    Excellent video btw

  • "The large magellanic cloud, or LMC, is a small companion galaxy of our own milky way."

i HATE useless 3-letter abbreviations. and on the whole planet, there are probarbly just a handful of people that actually talk about the large magellanic cloud often enough to justify the existence or creation of such an abbreviation, and i suspect even most of those dont say "LMC" because "large magellanic cloud" just sounds so much better.

  • @kurtilein3 At least what you quoted had the full term listed before the initials of it. When they just drop the letters without the full term before it, then it can get confusing for those not able to receive their divine messages through mental osmosis.

  • I love it when these videos come out

  • 3 people saw the universe and said "Fuck that shit"

  • stunning

  • I lived in a small pueblo in Bolivia that did not have any electricitand was hundreds of miles from any electric civilization. Unfortunately, I didnt have a telescope, but I could see the Magellenic Clouds very clearly every night. It was pretty amazing .It was so bright it looked as if it were a real cloud.

  • @cmsalvagio thats amazing, and thanks for sharing! :) must have been soooo clear

  • @jeebersjumpincryst indeed! I wish everyone would leave the city at least once a month to check out the sky wher there is less light pollution.

  • @cmsalvagio I'm lucky in that way. Once I turn off the lights in the house there is no light pollution. I live out back away from towns and less then 1km from a "Dark Sky Preserve".

    It's great ")

  • @cmsalvagio yeah - I agree - everyone should def leave city and go out far from light pollution and have a gaze at the night sky. Looks like a whole new place, if haven't seen it for a long time especially - rediscovery of the simple good things in life, and reminiscent of childhood and camping nights. Im in a city now, but every so often we get down to hometown, then go up the hills at night in summer, and drink it in. Its awesome, and kind of humbling. well worth it. cheers from new zealand :)

  • this feeds my brain! lmaoo

  • I hope you do a video on Amelia Fraser-McKelvie finding the hidden mass in the Universe. What a great discovery today!!!!

  • Freaking great shots....

I'm looking at a Galileo Newtonian 6" telescope for $75 on craigslist, anyone here familiar with that brand, and would $75 be worth it?

  • More likes than views... how?

  • @link5261 youtube take's longer to process and update "view's" than it does with "community engagement's", i.e. rating's, favourite's and comment's.

  • @link5261 You can like a link without viewing the video.

  • Ok nice pictures but where did they bury Spock >?

  • @crusty21 See that bright blue star? 2 seconds to the right and .004 up. Just don't plan on staying too long, I hear it's unstable.

  • Its impossibe to imagine what the galaxy would have looked like if, when the world was created through the big bang and collided with anti matter if it didnt do that how much more to the galax there would be. How many more stars and many, many, many other things there could be. Life and everything is awesome to learn about.

  • Too bad LMC can be only seen from the southern hemisphere :( Thats why Hubblecast is so valuable :)

  • Why would someone dislike this? I don't understand.

  • @PovichG Because learning anything outside the bible is forbidden.

  • So cool ^_^

  • awesome amazing and very scary place....

  • this stuff never gets old :}

  • Gotta love space, It's beautiful!

  • stunning!

  • oh...please more videos like this!!!

  • outer space is beautiful.

  • Science makes me so horny :)

  • Neytiri... I know that you are out there somewhere.. my love

  • interesting

  • I wanna go to space!

  • 0:27 there is a yellow-ish skull looking thing in the top right hand corner

  • I laugh at those who think we're the only ones out here XD

  • fapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfap

  • His voice is pretty deep sometimes, cool stuff anyways
