  • All of your ocarina videos are so beautiful sounding. I just got my first ocarina the other day (Polycarbonate Mountain ocarina in G) and I already taught myself a few things but everytime I hear you play, I feel like just giving up. I wanna learn this song and many others but it seems so complex and intimidating that I don't feel like I'd ever be able to figure it out by ear. I can't read sheet music either, so I'm really screwed :P

  • it sound like lord of the rings hobbit song go to cello wars lol so funny

  • i like this song it sounds so cute

  • thumbs up if you thought the beginning of this song sounded a bit like LOTR's hobbit song

  • @eragon3196 so im not the only one!

  • looks like 2 people are either not going back to the old country or are damn filthy brits! this man is moving back to the old country after seeing this.

  • I love Irish music it makes me want to live there and just hang around the cost and local people.

  • Music like this gets me kind of sad... It's so beautiful; that's the problem. I've beentrying and trying, but I can't play my ocarina very well. :(

  • I have a fondness for any traditional music from all cultures. I find them all very beautiful :) i guess however Celtic is my favorite out of the bunch.

  • lord of the rings. lol

  • I like listening to my kind of music :D I would love to walk on the pretty fields!

  • I plan on moving to Europe eventually...This is my first stop :P

  • Ireland and Great Britain look so beautiful. I wish I could just spend days walking across the countries. I also love this song, but I learned it as Song of the River.

  • titanic ^_^

  • the Irish are so awsome at their music making, and I'm mexican, our Ranchero and Cumbia sounds like jumbled circus music if you ask me:)

  • @YoungWolfMaster I can't agree with you there. I think the Mexican culture has some great music! Some of the same qualities for expressing emotion as all great music!

  • @garymichael1950 well, one would like someone elses stuff rather than himself's. yeah, mexican music's part of my culture, but we don't make stuff as close to Irish. An Asian might like Mexican more than his own music, because others might have better artistic creations or stuff that is not seemed to be found in their own asian culture. I dont see Irish flute in my culture, so, I gotta say, Irish music is better. If yu like Mex. then cool:)

  • @YoungWolfMaster You do make an excellent point there...about most people having more appreciation for other cultures music! The great part is when the music of all those cultures gets blended into another style of music!!!

  • This song I've gained a little obsession with. Every time I hear it, I close my eyes, and I feel wind wash and whip through my head, I can hear an ocean roaring against a cliff down below me, as if I was looking off of one of those beautiful cliffs. No, I'm not Irish, not even partially, but this song has beauty to everyone. It is as if the landscapes and the nature of Ireland is inside of the song itself, only to release itself to those who open themselves up to it.

  • This makes me wish that I knew where my family came from in Ireland. It would be a dream come true to see where I came from.

  • i agree with @hippiemommy09 I am a 3rd generation Irish, i always have and always will, when i was three through age 7 i irish danced for the fun of it, now we are planning the trip, its all Irish blood, even hearing the music makes you want to sit down and thing of the beautiful green. grass.

  • I am with a Irish man and i can see why he is so into nature.

  • the music is the best thing in this video

  • There's just something about Ireland that makes me feel at home.. its to sad i'm to far away from home.

  • @naulty3500 I am fourth generation Irish, and I have always thought it was interesting that every Irish person I have met in America has said the same thing, that they feel a pull from Ireland. The music and the images make me feel at home too, but also sad :/

  • @hippiemommy09 I could only wish that I was born in Ireland. sadly, I'm an irishman only because i claim to be and by very slight lineage.

  • SHLAINTE!!! LOVED it!!! You make me homesick for Ireland! Eirinn go deo!

  • There are a few questions as to what this beautiful instrument is. It's called an ocarina. It is like a recorder/flute and it has many different shapes and sizes. It has been popularized thanks to the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time but it's appearances date back to the native Americans and sometimes even farther. It is usually made of clay or wood, but can be made out of anything. Even a carrot. It is a beautiful instrument with a lovely sound. It works well with Celtic and Far Eastern music.

  • Ocarina....of time......XDDDD

  • Sweet music. Good for the soul.

  • love it

  • bollocks

  • reminds me of Lord of the Rings for some reason

  • It is an ocarina. I can't tell but I think a clay one is being used in this song. They come in many materials but the more authentic medium is of clay.

    She passed the salley gardens

    on little snow white feet

She bid me take love easy

as the leaves grow on the tree
