I finally did after many years of missing chances. I was actually in Toronto once when he was playing AND with a friend who wanted to see him too, but then said friend felt ill and I wasn't sure I could find my way to the club and back, so didn't go. Finally, in NYC in 2005, I saw him. For bonus cool points, Georgia and Ira from Yo La Tengo went to the show that night too. :)

Saw him do this song about 4 weeks ago in a SMALL venue about 40 minutes north of San Fran. Just him and drummer-FANtastic! He is so witty! Only about 100 people were there, very intamate but kinda sad. The guy is a pioneer.
