I think Misha will return as Cass (but there's a twist) and will return re-born as an angel again and also think that he will have no memory of who he is! (i think it will be interesting for his character to play) The reason i think this is because it has never been done before, the name of the episode he comes back in, and it was said that his character will come back changed. Look at all the characters Misha has played so far:

Yes, I do REALLY love & miss Cass SO much. But the people obsessing over his death is rly annoying me! Fans keep saying Dean hasn't mentioned him since he died, and that's bad writing.
Well lets look at it: How did Dean react when his FATHER died? Didn't say a word about it, kept it in. That's just Dean. How did Dean react when he wiped Lisa/Ben's memories? He told Sam if he mentioned them again he'd break his nose. But do you see fans complaining about that?!
if misha does come back as cass (lets pray to god he does) and the leviathan are still inside of him and trying to control him cass might have to deal with it just like when sam has to deal with seeing lucifer.
Misha Collins(Castiel) Is a good actor, look the radically change of personality, from boring and stiff castiel to extrovert "leviathan castiel". I liked the part when he says: "This is going to be so much fun /mhahahahah)"
i agree.. people who don't watch a particular show because their favorite character doesn't appear anymore.. doesn't watch the show for the show but for that character. i don't pick favorites like most people do.. if i enjoy a show i will watch it for everything not just for a few aspects.

I feel kinda bad, but I stopped when they killed both Balthazar and Cas. I think the show has gone down, sorry. Not trolling, I LOVE this series, but end of season 6 was unnessecary.
I don't know how 'losing' people in a show makes it good...? I've seen it happen so many times before, a character or actor leaves and not long after the show itself loses fans, viewers and ratings and finally closes.
@arkangelblue Maybe the writers know what they're doing. Maybe the series will come to an end next season; b/c I think whatever plan the Leviathans have is going to commence around the Season 7 finale.

@ShishaNoSasori they brought back niki as tracy, nathan was brought back through sylar, dl, isaac, adam, elle and arthur were the only legit deaths out of the cast of 100 ppl. Look how long the entire main cast survived. Hiro had a tumor and miraculously survived, peter and nathan exploded in the first season and survived, nathan got hit with a bullet and was clinically dead but survived, sylar was stabbed in the back of the head and stabbed in the chest and survived. See what I'm getting at?
@Deadeye287 yeah i see what you're saying. A lot of the ways they actually kept the characters alive was bullshit too (So Sylar gets stabbed in the chest, CAN'T regenerate, and survives? Then he shapeshifts his 'weak spot' even though that's not how that power works? And how was Nathan even in one piece after season one? He got blown up!). It does take the drama away from a show if you know the writers are too afraid to kill off their characters. But this show isn't much better.

For people who stopped watching Supernatural because of no Cas is a sure fire way to make sure the show loses its ratings. The show was good before Cas arrived. Not saying I don't miss him, he is a great character but losing people in a show is what makes a show good.

Sure, loss is an important theme in shows and an important part of life that we need to deal with but it is not what makes a show good. A television show is good when it is about about emotional interaction between characters. They're stripping the show down to Sam and Dean but, damnit, there's only so much Sam&Dean have to offer emotionally without other characters! SPN needs other characters!
@credocommgo I am not one of the people who stopped watching but I can't say I blame those who did. Castiel had become a very important character, part of the Winchester family and they killed him off extremely suddenly. Other than Dean saying he was a "stupid son of a bitch" and taking his trenchcoat, none of them mourned his death. Imagine the same thing happening with Bobby! Why would people want to keep watching? Folks stopped watching because they feel the writing has been poor this season.
@ashoftomorrow It's been heavily implied that Cas is coming back. Plus, he's already been killed like three other times in even more permanent looking ways. So if you think about it, shows like this don't really have the edge of other shows in which a favorite character will die and be gone forever. Sam, Dean, Bobby, Cas, most important characters who died, even some villains, they've all come back from the dead at least once on this show. Also, Sera Gamble is the show's main writer/producer now
Raphael killed him. Lucifer killed him. That's twice. Are you counting the time he used the angel banishing sigil on himself? He wasn't dead he was "banished," but the Cas came back the very next day. Oh they thought he was goner but the Cas came back the very next day.

Actually, we know nothing at all. Misha's said he hasn't been asked back yet, but that he would love to come back. Unfortunately, the show is being run by a glorified fanfic author who wouldn't know professionalism if it bit her in the ass, and thus hasn't even given him a time frame of when they might want him back on the show. Gamble has developed this habit of lying to the fans to bring in ratings, so I wouldn't believe anything she says. I hope they bring him back soon, though. I miss him!
I thought the only thing that could kill an angel is that silver shiny staff thing. It could be Cas just needs time to heal himself back together after exploding into like 3 million pieces. I heard he is back about episode 10 I don't know if it's for more than one episode though.

Its incredible ive seen Misha Collins playing like 5 or even more different roles on Supernatural. Castiel himself, the guy Castiel got his body from, the "god-castiel", the leviathans and even himself, Misha Collins. Give credit to that guy.

I completely admire Misha (not like I didn't before). The way he pulled off acting in this scene was just amazing. Hard for me to say, but Leviathan's first speech with Dean "Cas is hmm..He's gone...", completely had me fall in love with his acting ( and him) again. <3

@TheJonw2 in bible it's massive sean monster and one of the seven pricess of hell, in final battle he is defeated and slain by one of the archangels. In supernatural it's extremely strong beings made by god, surpassing angels in terms of power( i think they are stronger than anyone but archangels) and most important there is many of them not 1.

A leviathan (but cass is still alive and inside of the leviathan or the opposite way around)
Half angel half leviathan
Or something else. one thing is certain his character has changed......sounds interesting

For people who stopped watching Supernatural because of no Cas is a sure fire way to make sure the show loses its ratings. The show was good before Cas arrived. Not saying I don't miss him, he is a great character but losing people in a show is what makes a show good.

A television show is good when it is about about emotional interaction between characters. They're stripping the show down to Sam and Dean but, damnit, there's only so much Sam&Dean have to offer emotionally without other characters! SPN needs other characters!

Castiel had become a very important character, part of the Winchester family and they killed him off extremely suddenly. Other than Dean saying he was a "stupid son of a bitch" and taking his trenchcoat, none of them mourned his death. Imagine the same thing happening with Bobby! Why would people want to keep watching? Folks stopped watching because they feel the writing has been poor this season.

@ashoftomorrow It's been heavily implied that Cas is coming back. Plus, he's already been killed like three other times in even more permanent looking ways. So if you think about it, shows like this don't really have the edge of other shows in which a favorite character will die and be gone forever. Sam, Dean, Bobby, Cas, most important characters who died, even some villains, they've all come back from the dead at least once on this show. Also, Sera Gamble is the show's main writer/producer now

Actually, we know nothing at all. Misha's said he hasn't been asked back yet, but that he would love to come back. Unfortunately, the show is being run by a glorified fanfic author who wouldn't know professionalism if it bit her in the ass, and thus hasn't even given him a time frame of when they might want him back on the show. Gamble has developed this habit of lying to the fans to bring in ratings, so I wouldn't believe anything she says. I hope they bring him back soon, though. I miss him!

I completely admire Misha (not like I didn't before). The way he pulled off acting in this scene was just amazing. Hard for me to say, but Leviathan's first speech with Dean "Cas is hmm..He's gone...", completely had me fall in love with his acting ( and him) again. <3

In supernatural it's extremely strong beings made by god, surpassing angels in terms of power( i think they are stronger than anyone but archangels) and most important there is many of them not 1.
