this isn't called playing its called pissing off my pet turtle, sorry i mean alligator snapping turtle till he is one day big enough and fast enough and will hurt me. you don't play with snapping turtle at most you can train them to let them know you feed them, or feed them by hand, but besides that they are best for showing off not pissing off.

Yours is a little bigger than mines. Mine is just fresh out of my second day box that i just got from John Richards the turtle man a week ago. After getting him out of the box, he was already prowling his tank full of guppies. He got his mouth wide open while looking down at the same time. That stance was his favorite technique.

Actually my experience with my alligator snapping turtles was great. You need to have a lot of patience though, since they never move at all, except for poking their noses out of the water, while taking a breath.

I never get the chance to meet him in person. I wish i did. All we did was talk about doing business, regarding the turtle's shipment over the phone. The scariest part was having him ship a species that is considered illegal in the state of Washington. The most exciting part was having his signature signed in the video that was shipped, together with the hatchling. :-)

me my dad and mom live in mo and went to see him! we have got 3 turtles from him a alligator snapping turtle and 2 baby eastern painted turtles! he is really nice and has a nice house!

The size of my turtle right now is about the same size of johnboy400's turtle. John Richards for me is a very trusted person, and he never gives up on a deal regarding business online, and his a very nice fellow too. His business stretches across Africa, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. It cost me at least 100 dollars just o buy this turtle on top of the shipping charge from this nice fellow.

John Richards is by far the best guy to work with for these awesome turtles..I have ordered two Alligator snappers from him on different ocassions and both were flawless, one was a hatchling that you can see on my profile and the other was an 8inch guy thats just awesome to say the least..a video of him will be up soon, but from first hand experience, John Richards is awesome and always there to answer any questions you have!

lol, hes pretty big! Mine is smaller, but he is so fast, yours is a big lug ox, lol! I kinda wanted a big uggo but i guess i got my good old bowser. Bowser usually swings around hella quick, i just dont feel like bugging him in order to get him mad, but i do it on occasion to make sure hes "ok" lol.

I do not think he was bugging him, i think it is good to handle them if you can, you need too. And i do not mean MESS with them, but get them used to touch and apush, just in case you have too, but not mean. BOWSER! that is funny! in a good way. 120.00 is a good price. He got a good one, SWEET!
