don't go for sure!!! always fighting with parents if u not doing good.. u need to make friends new ones i mean and u dont got good looking saying on ur head so u better don't go xD nah just kidding but u really don't go it sucks....
If you choose a uni' course that is geared towards a specific SKILL (such as the 3D Modelling you mentioned) you *may* gain a qualification that has some currency in the real world.
Perhaps you should take a broad qualification as your first degree and then specialise with a Postgraduate certificate that will actually help you get a JOB.
If you don't want to stay permanently in academia (and hard slog and theory aren't yer thang) - the main benefit will be how lucky you are networking.
dude go collage is a big thing and it increases your chance of getting a great job instead of just an outstanding job you can get an O MY GOD job and then be lazy then get a regular job but get up to manager or something faster then slack off and not have to worry while you make great money and get as many girls as you want or just find the right one
Uni is full of student loans and debt, i would never go to Uni, waste of time and money IMO becuase you take out student loans and then when you get a job it takes a few years to pay it back.
Damn those irrelevant hoops.

I'm thinking the same thing - 1st year at college right now, and i cant see myself stuck in education for another few years.
You can still go to uni if you have a gap year, so take the place and then decide at the end of that year if you like work.
