I`m not a fan of learning solos perfectly the way their done on the studio version of a song. I prefer to get the main Idea/feel of a solo, and then do my own thing around it.

My first bootleg was an LP of a double LP set with a blank label so I never knew it's name. The quality was not good but memorably it had their rendition of Blueberry hill and some guy shouting out "Holy f*$k" during the Heartbreaker solo. I was led to believe that it had been played while he had two fingers strapped together having broke one or both earlier in the tour. Can u help? I thought I'd cracked it quality-wise when I got my hands on Destroyer Triple LP set a couple of years later

@kobeisashotjacker That's called a behind-the-nut bend, which is just what the name sounds like. Jimmy did it occasionally, e.g., in the Heartbreaker solo when he does the repeated pull-off on the G string from 5th fret/2nd fret/open string.
