I remember seeing this video on a late night rock music tv show (before MTV) and I was instantly hooked. This is such a great song! Def Leppard is the soundtrack to my days in high school. Such great memories.
@bchurch2000 dude i know what you are going through. there are plenty of other women out there. if it wasnt meant to be then it wasnt menat to be. maybe the next girl youmeat will be the one
This is great- thanks. I am still searching for the Original version of this song...the one that would have been found on that original record album. It is great and raw sounding. It is just not out there anymore and would LOVE to find it!!!
Checking with some of my chums of the day, we all agree that is was the same video Steve Mardock recorded on the first VHS player we ever saw. I never saw anything blowing up in the MTV video, only live show (don't know where it was shot).
The first music video was directed by Doug Smith, and is a live recording of Def Leppard performing the song at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool, England on July 22, 1981. It was originally filmed (along with clips for "Let It Go" and "High 'n' Dry") as part of Don Kirshner's Rock Concert television series on the U.S. network ABC.[2] The second music video, directed by David Mallet, was shot on February 1984 in Jacob's Biscuit Factory in Lake, Dublin, Ireland.

THIS is the Def Leppard I miss the most. Pyromania is awesome but High N Dry is why I got into Def Lep in the first place.

@tattooyou18 no man they just got so mainstream and soft and it was just weird and kinda sad
lion3p0 1 year ago
@lion3p0 I'm gonna have to disagree on the soft part. Mainstream sure, but thats fine by me means more people appreciated them
