These movies have too much product placement the first film had alot more with Nike, Skittles, Coke, United Airlines, A Mercedes Benz dealer, Kodak, Yahoo, McD, and Sharper Image, I expected this film to have generic products like for example instead of a can of Coca Cola the movie people will place the word cola
I just loved this movie as a kid. The first showed how he became Inspector Gadget like most movies do with the awsomest people around while the second was just having even more awsomeness! Whoo!
This was a direct-to-DVD sequel, and Matthew Broderick...for some MYSTERIOUS reason...chose not to reprise his role. Nor did Rupert Everitt. We'll never know why...
That reminds of the episode of Happy Days with Robin Williams as Mork from Ork visits richie (Ron Howard) and freezes time expect the fonz but notice everyone swaying

I liked Broderick's Gadget better. More naive than stupid
While this was closer to the cartoon, Broderick's Gadget had more humanity to him.
