@foxyroxy2005 If you Wiki 'Under Pressure", you can read about the song they were recording (called 'Cool Cat'), and how they had to edit out Bowie's part. Even better, search Youtube for "freddy mercury interview david bowie" (start at 0:30). He talks about how Bowie withdrew at the last second because he didn't like his voice, and he even calls him an "a*shole" in the interview. He was obviously bitter towards him ... they were both at the 1985 live aid concert and they STILL didn't sing it!

Then David Bowie said that he didn't like the sound of his own voice, so he refused to let them release it. This pissed Freddie off because he waited until the last minute to tell them this, and the song was already done. They recorded Under Pressure shortly after, but the bitter feelings between Freddie and Bowie remained.

The bass riff by John Deacon is all his. We all know (or should) that it was "sampled" by Ice . This re-mix is really messy though. It can't touch the original with Bowie...
