Just my humble opinion, but I think there is some raw natural talent with the usage of imagery, tone, color, music, nature, some actually striking shots early on. It's kind of ambiguous in the way say "Donnie Darko" is. We never get a payoff as to what all the numbers mean, or maybe I missed it, but I think that's a flaw.
@robtfdfbvv Thanks for your feedback. I made this a really long time ago, and it was when I was still learning the constructs of storytelling. The numbers..you find out at the end (during the credits) that they are from a list of things the character (my bes friend) wants to do before he dies. Very vague, but I didn't know how to properly execute the story of a young person dying trying to finish a list of things to do before he dies without making it absolutely cheesy. Living is learning.
Very interesting, especially as I once did a similar thing about "47". (See video). In my case the number was chosen simply because it has "good luck" stories attached to it in the family history.
i have the book Learning to Love You More. Last summer, I did the tasks in the book and took pictures of it just the way the character does in the video. Awesome the I have those memories and can identify with short film such as this. I also have a microkorg. lol
Watched it again. Mea culpa.

I don't usually comment on videos, but yours inspired me to do so. This is a beautiful combination of music, color, and cinematography. I love it.
