  • He is good

  • it looks a little small but if its a female thats normal, and depending on its age as well, but it doesn't look under weight :)

  • you tell if they are getting enough to eat by the thickness of the base of their tail the thicker the healthier

  • feed him some waxworms.

  • hes kinda skinny but i wouldn't loose sleep over it feed him a few waxworms that will plump him up! just not to many or he/she will get fat

  • I know alot about bearded dragons, and he looks like hes doing ok, just feed him about 6 to 10 crickets or worms a day, until he gets older , then you should start reducing the amount of meaty foods, and start increasing vegetables

    pinky mice arent needed,

    keep up the good work!

  • hi you said you know alot about beardies.... my 8 mont old when she sits on this rock i have in her viv she goes completely flat. it looks like she is way too thin is that meant to happen or summin.... i feed her 8 cricks a day

  • 8 circkets a day is about how much I feed mine, although I do switch from crickets to worms each day. when bearded dragons are on a rock, (or most any surface under heat), they spread out there bellies really flat to consume more heat, its perfectly normal, mine do it all the time. Im glad you seem very caring about your bearded dragon

  • yeah i started giving her mealworms every second day.... i take it its still 8 of them like the crickets

  • @sheeplikesganja 8 crixs a day is not enough she have as much food as she can eat in a 5-10 min times span dusted with calcium supplement with added vitamin D3 5 times a week and mulit vitamins twice a week. If her rock is under her heat lamp they flaten them selfs to absorb heat more quickly

  • @Rampage19867 this was almost a year ago, when she was like just born, it gets about a box a day now....

  • he can eat pinky mice

  • maybe... just to be on the safe side give him some water through a turkey paster

  • he looks lovely :)

  • if you thinks his overweight then wh would u be asking if he could eat pinkies if thatll just get him fatter

  • he thought it was underweight stupid

  • he could easily b eating hopper mice

  • you should only use pinkies unless hes a large breed like a german giant.

  • hes good. they flatten out when they dont like stuff. so it makes them look skinnier. but trust me hes healthy

  • hes really healthy

  • i have a bearded dragon, but i will never feed him baby mice im fine with feeding him locusts and crickets with mealworms in his salad bowl that is all u need to do i would only feed them mice if they are big old and have a big enough gob

  • my beardie is fat :D but he keeps pooing every day is this a problem?

  • no it isint

  • no, thats actually really healthy

  • he is not under weight and dont feed him any thang with hard shells or hard bones and dont hold him like that he will slip and fall and break his leg or somethaing

  • your fucking stupid . .. first off a one ounce bearded dragon doesnt exist you idiot. and 14 inches is waaaaay to small

  • You really like .... and saying fuck dont you i think you need to grow up you cant tell him how big his dragon is mines 56 foot and 234 oz are you gonna tell me im wrong no because you have not seen it

  • yes . . i can tell him that 1 ouce 14 inches is impossible and it cant happen you asshole .. . their bone structure is more than one ounce. and i can prove you wrong because if it was 56 feet 234 ounces would be its eyeball . . .

  • you are a retard

  • Who here is calling someone a retard over the internet? you

  • yes.

  • why the fuck do people buy bearded dragons to see them eat mice . . . mice are bad for them ! and bones are very hard to digest. . .dont give him any mice . . pinky fuzzy what the fuck ever for about another year. . . only mature bearded dragons over about 2 to 3 years old can handle these mice . . . . and even then they are not recommended.

  • There's no need to feed them pinky mice. I've heard of stories of pinkies killing the Bearded Dragon, but do what you want.

  • my bearded dragons name is doug... and he eats crickets alot but LOVES lettuce and buttnernut squash.... lettuce isnt that great so dont rely on that but veggies are important as well as crickets. then again dont make it more complicated than it really is cuz ive gone like 2 weeks without any crickets and all veggies and he loved it.

  • those two names are OK but if u look on google you can find a lot a names

  • dude you should show the tail if its fat at the top then its fine

  • your beardie looks fine darth vader

  • lmao

  • my bearded dragons are called tyson and rex are they stupid names and should i rename them?

  • i think my beardies unweight coz he doesnt eat his veg or fruit he just eats his meat

  • compared to the head you can see a slite deficeancei, just about all the suggestions below should be adiquit.

  • no mine is the same but longer and feeding him a live mouse today 3/16/09

  • no mine is a little bigger but he may just be older thats all.....he looks pretty fine to me

  • its not underweight its the kind of dragon/ my friends has 1 just like that and its skinnier but very healthy

  • ur lizard is not under weight...lizard use there tails as fat storage....so u can always tell by the tail thickness if he is under weight or not

  • maybe, for his head size.

  • nah just probly a female...

  • na man

  • he is bigger than mine but we havent feed him any pink mice. The rule of thumb is not to feed him anything bigger than his head. You don't want him to choke or get it stuck in his throat. You should be fine with a baby mouse. As for his size he is not under weight. he looks fine and healthy

  • ok thank you very much

  • if when you got him he started to grow and then stopped is because its winter you posted it in september when bearded dragons go into winter shutdown and eat almost nothing sometimes so if he dosen't grow or stops eating don't worry

p.s he looks so much like mine

  • mate the rule of the thumb is the gap between the eyes not head... if you do his head then its to big and could damage his jaw, or internal organs, but your dragon looks fine, nice decent size

  • kk thanks

  • dw =D he is not. if you see he is thin but has more height from bottom of his stomach to top of his back XD myne is like that too. perfectly good dragon and cute too.

  • no its not
